char koay teow OK Apr 10, 2013

Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung | Noodles

this stall is located at taman berjaya ( some people call the place as pasar pagi which means the morning market ). there are many stalls at that place selling different kind of foods, one of it is char koay teow. the important thing to make the char koay teow tastes better is not to be too oily. luckily this stall's char kuey teow still considered as okay. they also sell fried indonesia mee. i never tried before so maybe i will try out next time. overall it is just okay, nothing special.

i tried the nasi lemak so now it is time to talk about nasi ayam. actually there are many stalls selling nasi ayam ( chicken rice ) in almost every kopitiam. there are no much difference if you want to compare with each other. normally the chicken tastes the same, for me i prefer drumstick and not breast meat. the only thing that can differentiate whether the chicken rice tastes good or not is their sauce. once the sauce meet your requirement, then the chicken rice will tastes delicious. the price normally range from rm5 - 7.

it is a cafe and restaurant located inside the shopping mall, beside the big cinema. it have two storey high, air-conditioner and wifi available. i always came here before going for a movie as it is just located beside the cinema and i do not have to worry of being late for the movie. i love to eat their fish and chip but actually it is nothing different compared to others. the price for a fish and chip is around rm 10 + and it is considered as okay for me.

roti canai OK Apr 07, 2013

there are uncountable stalls selling roti canai in kedah and all of them looks similar, just a typical selling roti canai bicycle. this one is quite similar with the others. their price is always very cheap, is around rm0.60 to rm1.00 for one plain roti canai. you can choose to eat it with curry, dhal or sugar. it depends on you whether you can eat spicy food or not.

it is a stall and i can't really remember the exact location of this stall as i just driving around kampung berjaya and accidentally saw this stall and decided to make a take away for my lunch. i ordered a ''cha shao and shao rou rice''. it only costs me around rm5 for the rice which can be considered as cheap because the portion is kinda big. overall the taste is normal.
