hokkien mee Smile Apr 10, 2013
Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung | Noodles

this hokkien mee is famous in sentosa area as it is delicious to eat. i usually have that because my tuition centre is around. normally people came here to dabao it as their breakfast. hokkien mee at here is different from the one in kuala lumpur. the hokkien mee here has soup base quite similar with the laksa type. unlike the hokkien mee in kuala lumpur is black in colour and do not have soup one. the hokkien mee here tastes a little bit spicy, you can add prawn or meat if you want, and of course the price will be different.

laksa OK Apr 10, 2013

you can never compare malay stall laksa and chinese stall laksa. malay stall laksa is more to spicy but chinese stall laksa is more to sour and spicy. the soup base is both cooked by the fishes. this stall can be considered as spicy for me because i can't take much spicy food. but if you are a spicy-lover, you can add more sambal into the soup. the soup has a nice aroma and it is nice to taste. the price is cheap too.

if you love to eat malay food, you can have a try at this stall. mostly they sell spicy food like those selling in mamak stall. their dishes including fried chicken, fried fish, curry chicken, curry mutton, eggs in different types of cooking method, vegetables and others. there are many dishes for you to choose. the price is cheap and they count it according to the types and portion of dishes u select.

when you think of saving money but you want to have some healthy food, you can think of this bee hoon. they were called economy fried bee hoon as one packet only cost rm 1 to rm 2. it is very cheap and at the same time it can fulfill your stomach. it is just normal fried bee hoon, nothing special, but tastes okay, not too oily or salty. most importantly, it do not contain much MSG。

hokkien prawn mee OK Apr 10, 2013

Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung | Seafood | Noodles

this stall is located in the morning market of taman berjaya. they use the small prawns to cook for the soup base, so it tastes a little bit seafood taste, fresh and nice. if you are a spicy-lover, you can add in as much as sambal you love then the colour of the soup will turn red. you can choose whether you want yellow mee or mihun or mixed. it is served with a few slice of cha shao too. and the price is really cheap, only rm 2-3 per bowl.
