I am not a yong tau fu lover nor a 'carnivore' but I will not missed any chance to grab a bowl of noodles with yong tau fu soup when I go to Batu Pahat.

The noodle alone is not enough but when the minced meat was added and some vegetable into the noodles, the texture and the feeling when we chew it in our mouth is different. Not to forget about the chilli paste! Very tasty! For the yong tau fu, most of it are made by themselves and every time we visit that restaurant, i will request my mum to take the yong tau fu with bitter gourd and meat. It didn't tastes bitter but very nice to eat with the soup. Everything is just nice.

There are two branches for the Ah Hua Noodles Shop. However, there are just nearby each other. Main branch is at the corner under the tree, we need to line up on Sunday though. The other branch is behind the main shop.

For the price of the food, do not worry about spending much in batu pahat, it is the best town with delicious foods and reasonable price!

Fried Awesome Lala @ Batu Pahat Smile Jul 02, 2013

lol lol lol

Hai Kee (seaside) hawker center is a hawker street with famous foods (e.g roasted chicken wings, fish noodles, fried oyster omelette, steamboat, chicken rice etc ) at central of Batu Pahat.
Batu Pahat has quite a number of street foods that attract people and crowded during night time.

Fried lala with ginger and cilli padi is one thing I can't afford to miss when I eat at seaside (hai kee in Hokkien). There is this famous grilled fish (ikan bakar) stall that serves yummy fried lala, sotong etc.

Price is reasonable and the taste is beyond description! THAT DELICIOUS!!!

Recommended Dish(es):  Fried lala seafood
