AWESOME grilled chicken chop.
There was a day I was craving for chicken chop, then I went to the stall in citibank food court. I was alone just to eat this. As usual the queue was long, I waited about 15 minutes to get this. It is served with coeslaw, fries or you can changed it to mashed potatoes and chicken chop with mushroom sauce. It was slightly salty but I like it! The chicken was so tender and every single bite gave you satisfaction.

What is a must eat dish when you are in Taiwan?
LU ROU FAN (Braised mince pork rice) !!!!!

It is awesome to know that we can eat it even here in Malaysia. Braised pork rice here is really tasty. The braised pork is cut in such a way it is minced. Meat used was three layers fat meats that makes the whole texture great melting in your mouth. It will normally be served as a topping on a bowl of rice. Price is cheap yet taste is so good. For your information, it is supposed to be oily braised. So if you are not someone that eat fat pork, think twice.

I love sashimi here in Umaiya!
The rest of the food are so so but salmon sashimi is fresh enough and most important, THICK slice of salmon eventhough it is a bit shorter in length. The whole presentation of the sashimi was good. I love how they spend time putting orchid flower as decoration and also the shell. Price is reasonable. Ambient is really good. Service also good as they will always serve you without leaving you un-attended.

chopstick lol mad

Grilled IKA!!!!! A must ordered food when we are in japanese restaurant.
Grilled squid in Sushi Zanmai is big in portion. With the squeezed of lemon, perfect.
Meat is juicy and succulent. But it is not grilled to crisp. Depends on your preference for a grilled seafood. Whether you prefer crispiness over juicy meat or both or just juicy meat alone can satisfy your tastebuds. Overall, this is good.

Beef bento set Smile Aug 12, 2013

Sushi Zanmai in One Utama is always packed and long queue. Managed to get in a table of two after 20minutes.
Stirred fried beef in Sushi Zanmai was awesome. Awesome in a way it is not expensive but meat came in big portion, and tender enough to ask for more! Not too salty but just nice to eat with rice. Beef bento set was reasonable in price. If you are not someone that can queue for long, try to go to the Zanmai in Paradigm.

Spending per head: Approximately RM40(晚餐)
