Inari Sushi OK Sep 26, 2013   (Related Review)

Inari sushi can be an ala carte or come with the lunch set.
Inari sushi here comes in two slices for the combo set. It was made by wrapping some sushi rice into the bean curd skin, the skin is really sweet, I have no idea how they do it but Inari is my favour among all the sushi! In addition, the bean curd skin is not too dry, it is moist and sweet. Good to eat alone or with some wasabi.

Salmon Don OK Sep 26, 2013   (Related Review)

Salmon don is my new favor in Japanese restaurant now. Ordered this in Senya, inside Isetan, Suria KLCC. Salmon don here came in about three to four slices of salmon wrapped on the rice. Topped with big mentaiko (egg) and some lemon, pickled gingers, wasabi and a piece of leave for decoration. Salmon slice is fresh but quite thin in slice. Since it is fresh, it tasted sweet. Rice is intact but abit sticky and moist.

Japanese Salad OK Sep 26, 2013

Senya express restaurant in KLCC Isetan is another place that I love to visit. Food serves fast and yet, quality. Service there is really nice and fast but you are not allowed to bring outside food or food from other stalls. If you order the combo set, it will comes with the salad as appetizer, a slice of tofu and a bowl of miso soup. All in reasonable price. This salad topped with sesame sauce. Whole combination is nice.

Teppanyaki with vegetables, mushroom and pork is something unique I've gotten in a Japanese restaurant so far. I am a rice 'sucker' and this is the dish that must must MUST eat with rice!Way too tasty! In this teppanyaki, I can get different type of mushrooms which added great texture to the whole combination, bean sprouts, alot of cabbage, pork meat, green pepper etc Taste wise this is salty yet very yummy. I will go back for this!!mad

Steamed rice is RM3.90
Yasai Itame RM 16.90

Squid sushi OK Sep 26, 2013   (Related Review)

This came FREE with you showing your pint of salt card when you dine in.
Probably the branch here is slightly crowded, I was waited sometime while they serve me this free appetizer. Squid sushi came with the squid had already dipped with soy sauce on top. The sushi rice was intact. The squid is abit hard in terms of texture but with the soy sauce, it still tasted something. I am not sure how to differentiate squid freshness though.
