红烧鱼鳔 Braised Fish Baldder Smile Sep 06, 2013

红烧鱼鳔 Braised Fish Baldder was well braised with secret sauce and several pieces of shiitake mushrooms. This is a famous dish among chinese customers and a must order to ladies! It contains a lot of collagen to keep you a healthy skin. Anyway taste wise it is not salty yet sweet, just nice to taste the fish baldder and the texture of the fish baldder was chewy and nice. Recommended dish.

Sashimi rice set as main course for dinner!!
The presentation of the food is nice. Everything on the plate was well put in the little cube bowl. The ingredients for this sashimi rice set are unagi, red tuna, salmon, mentaiko, some other fish that I have no idea, eggs roll and lemon with carrots for the decoration. Taste wise all these are up to the standard and freshness brings sweetness to the meat. With a dip of wasabi, you will feel real good!

Dim sum for a weenkend with family!
Restaurant Imbi Palace offer several types of dim sum in their menu. Ordered Har Gao ( steamed prawn dumplings) . It came in four translucent prawn dumplings in a bamboo steamer. It was served hot and when you have a bite in the dumpling, the smell of the prawn will be stronger and tasted real sweet. For this, personally I can eat few tray on my own. Overall nice

Restaurant Imbi Palace is one of the high tier chinese restaurant for me. This restaurant serves above average food. Ordered char siew pao (roasted pork pao). It came with three char siew pao in a bamboo steamer. Very puffy and soft for the pao. The roasted pork was filled inside the pao and was cut in the middle exposing it's delicious golden dark brown roasted meat. The smell is good and the meat was nice to eat, not salty and with a combination of thin and three layers pork meat.

Kampachi Japanese Restaurant is one of the top tier Japanese restaurant in Kuala Lumpur.
It serves real fresh sashimi with a slightly higher price. If you believe on money worthy meal, this is for you.
Ordered assorted sashimi as ala carte. In a plate, it has salmon sashimi, squid and tuna sashimi. I love their thick sashimi. Not tasteless but if you know how to enjoy the 'freshness' of a piece of sashimi, you will ask for more.

Recommended Dish(es):  Assorted Sashimi

Spending per head: Approximately RM25
