sad

Mihun soup in Hou Mei Noodle House, Genting was tasteless.
Soup tasted with strong sense of accent seasoning (msg).
Few prawns, minced meat and bean sprouts sprinkled with sping onions.
Ingredients were limited.
Services were slow when crowded.
In my own opinion, this shop taste rather 'commercial' than what it was supposed to be.
Price is high yet tasteless.

Will think twice if I have to dine in again.sad

What do you crave for when you are in a cold land?
Yes, HOT soup will be the first in my mind despite a hot milo/ coffee.

Since I am a fan of wan tan mee, this is definitely a must order in Hou Mei Noodle House @ Genting.
The rest of the foods that I had tasted in Hou Mei Noodle House were not my liking.
However, this wan tan mee was an exception.

Noodles were fine and texture was good.
Wan tan (dumpling) has big prawn / meat.
Hot soup with dry noodles in a cold environment, I just love the combination.

Roasted chicken rice @ Genting OK Jul 08, 2013

Genting Highland is a famour casino & themepark land in Malaysia.

The place is located at high area and that makes the cold weather stand out in a tropical country, Malaysia.
It tooks 45 minutes to drive from Kuala Lumpur to Genting.

Restaurant there are limited.
Hou Mei Noodle House is located inside First World building and always crowded with tourists.

Ordered roasted chicken rice and the taste is so commercial.
To me, food in Genting is just overpriced and not tasty at all.

Chicken rice set came with seaweed soup and chilli.
Chicken rice: so so
Seaweed soup: Nice
Handmade chilli: Rather awesome

Services were slow when the restaurant was crowded with people.
