Tom Yum Seafood OK Sep 29, 2013   (Related Review)

Tom yum soup is a dish that everyone will order in Thai restaurant. Tom yum soup here is more to clear base. But the spiciness maintained. Never ever underestimate their clear soup, you need alot of water to ease the spiciness. Ingredients wise you can choose between chicken tom yum soup or seafood tom yum soup. One thing I've realized in tom yum soup is the amount of basil leaves and vegetables that added some smell to the tom yum. Overall nice.

My elephant Thai restaurant is one of the famous Thai restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. Fried lala is one of the must order dish in every Thai restaurants. Portion came is average. It was stir-fried with onions and long beans. Taste wise the sauce was yummy and thick. Slightly spicy and strong taste of curry leaf. I like how thick was the sauce. It is like the chinese 'kam hiong' style.

Restaurant sweet home is also one of the packed restaurant during peak/ lunch hours. It is located in Wisma Central. They served a wide range of chinese food. Was craving for something soupy, ordered fish head mihun soup. Soup is quite nice. Added milk but the soup base is not too creamy. Ingredients wise this contained fried fish, tomatoes, fish ball and mihun, sprinkled with fried onions and spring onions.Overall ok.

Char Kuey Teow ( thin kuey teow) serves here is the best I would say. Taste wise this is salty but acceptable. Ingredients wise this contained prawns, vegetables and fish cake. Central steak restaurant offers a wide range of food ranged from Chinese food to western chicken chop. Normally people would go there for their fried kuey teow kungfu / hokkien styles. Heard that their chicken chop is actually yummy too.

Recommended Dish(es):  Char Kuey Teow_Hokkien style

Spending per head: Approximately RM5

Ying yong hor fun OK Sep 29, 2013

Ying yong hor fun serves from Central Steak Restaurant came in a big portion. It contains vegetables, egg, chicken meats, fish cake etc Broth is not too thick. Taste wise this is normal. Not my best ying yong hor fun so far. In addition, the broth taste is too mild that the fried kuey teow and mihun tasted stronger than the broth. More like a wet fried kuey toew mix.
