Egg benedict Cry Jul 16, 2013   (Related Review)

Egg benedict for breakfast, with fried mushroom and cherry tomatoes.
Not to forget a nice scenery view from 38th floor of the building.
How nice if you are staying once in a while in a higher class for any meals and ponder meaning of life.
It does it way to give me the best refresh feeling and a better start of day!

However, egg benedict was a disappointment. Couldn't blame the skill but the cold environment made the eggs dried and 'gross'. It was tasteless because I did not put any sauce. That was the first time I have had myself an egg benedict outside of house. I was afraid to try any one of the egg benedict now. sad

Green Curry Noodles Cry Jul 10, 2013   (Related Review)

Hotel Istana serves small bowl of noodles everyday. From pan mee, mihun soup to green curry noodles.
Small portion but satisfaction for me. However, this greem curry was too tasteless for me.

I felt that the food was just added with water and did not blend it really well. Or maybe because of personal preference, I think green curry must have a thick soup but in fact, this bowl of green curry is not up to the standard.

sad

Mihun soup in Hou Mei Noodle House, Genting was tasteless.
Soup tasted with strong sense of accent seasoning (msg).
Few prawns, minced meat and bean sprouts sprinkled with sping onions.
Ingredients were limited.
Services were slow when crowded.
In my own opinion, this shop taste rather 'commercial' than what it was supposed to be.
Price is high yet tasteless.

Will think twice if I have to dine in again.sad

shocked

I love siew york (roasted pork) with rice set!
When I was hesitated whether roasted chicken rice set will be better or roasted pork rice, I was told that I can actually mix them up into a set of rice. Loving a combination like this!

However, roasted pork here is abit too fat for me. Meaning, for a piece of pork meat, the fat layers are more then the meat.
Besides, the roasted skin is not crispy at all. I was disappointed though.

For the next time, I will stick back to my chicken rice! mad

Fish Market Lunch Cry Jun 29, 2013

smile

For me, Manhattan fish market in Ampang Park is rather not strategic because a lot of car passing by and that in turns minus points in their ambient.

Lunch hour is supposed to be quite, cozy to make us feel refresh after the hectic morning workloads.
However, taking lunch here with lotsa vehicles and people passing by, i lost a bit of appetite.sad

I'd ordered dory fish and chips. Loving their big chips as usual but fish was abit dry for me. Tartar sauce is the only way to make me finish the whole set of lunch. Not forgetting chilli sauce and all, the fish alone is not so tasty yet dry and a bit dry.

Recommended Dish(es):  fish and chips

Spending per head: Approximately RM30(午餐)
