All Citrus Soda Smile May 29, 2013   (Related Review)

The All Citrus Soda sounded very interesting, especially after having such a big and heavy meal, it would be good to have something sourish to wash down the oil. We order that, and the drink came in a jiffy. There were lots of slices of lemons and calamansi soaked in soda, which was definitely very refreshing. It was slightly sour, but the soda's sweetness balanced the sourness well. Priced at RM7.50 a glass, it was well worth the amount paid.

Pickled Mango Smile May 29, 2013

Categories : Juices / Bubble Tea / Tea / Yogurt

Mouth was hankering for something sour, so decided to buy some pickled mango from Iz Jeruk. I chose the mango without skin, as they have both kinds. The mangoes were well pickled, very eye-squintingly sour. I added in some asam powder for the extra kick. They also have other pickled items such as papaya and shallots. I enjoyed the pickled mangoes very much, and will come back again to try other stuff.

Fried Oyster OK May 29, 2013

A franchise of Oyster King was opened in Paradigm Mall, so hubby and I decided to go and try it out. We ordered a plate of fried oyster to share. The portion was medium, not too small. It was a bit salty, but nevertheless still OK. The oysters were fresh and juicy, however, they were rather small. I was expecting them to be bigger. The dish was full of eggs and flour, not that many oysters. Overall, just OK.

Chocolate Soya Milk Smile May 29, 2013

Tucked deep inside the alley of the mall opposite MBG is a small shop selling soya-based products. Qbean sells a variety of items such as flavoured soya bean milk, soya-based ice-cream and soya bean curd. I wanted to try something different, so I ordered the Chocolate Soya Milk. The taste is quite pleasant, with a good mixture of chocolate and soya taste. It was also quite filling. Well worth the amount paid.

Orange Chocolate Smile May 29, 2013   (Related Review)

The dark, almost black colour bun interested hubby very much, especially when the name is Orange Chocolate. The texture is somewhat like a pretzel, quite chewy. It is full of chocolate taste, plus lots of chocolate chips inside. There was also a slight orange-y taste to it, which was very nice. It would be better if it was served straight out of the oven, but it was still enjoyable nonetheless. Priced at RM4.20, it was a decent price to pay.
