This was the first time I tried spaghetti with spicy assam fish. The spaghetti taste awesome with the Thai style of assam fish that cooked together with some capsicum chillies, onion, red chillies and mushroom. It was not too spicy or too oily. It was like eating Thai style noodles. With the special price of RM20, you will get a complimentary of one glass of fresh fruit juice of your choice.

I ordered the Angus beef steak for myself, and at the special price of RM38, it was definately worth the price as the meat was really tender, juicy and tasty.

It came with complementary of homemade iced lime juice with was perfect with the steak. The prime new zealand breed Angus beef came medium rare with in-house signature sauce, and suited my taste really well.

Grilled Toast with Duck Egg Kaya & Butter - RM2.80

One of the unique and must try item was the Grilled Toast with Duck Egg Kaya & Butter. I was rather intrigued with the fact they replaced the chicken egg with duck egg to make the kaya. However, I could not differentiate the difference though, as the kaya tasted great on the toast, be it a duck egg or a chicken egg.

According to the owner, the kaya was made fresh daily. It wasn't swet enough though, as I have a sweet tooth and love to have overflowing kaya instead.

Assam Laksa Smile Jul 18, 2012   (Related Review)

Assam Laksa - RM9.90

I loved this Assam Laksa. With a generous chunk of mackerel inside the Assam Laksa, one could taste the fish in every mouthful of the soup and laksa. The soup was thick with fabulous taste of shredded kembung (mackerel) fish and finely sliced vegetables such as cucumber, onions, red chillies, pineapples, and common laksa mint leaves. Remember to topped off with "hae ko" (thick sweet shrimp paste).

Fried Oyster Omelette  Smile Jul 18, 2012

The oysters in the dish came in two different sizes, one which was big and juicy, while the other slightly smaller and drier. I love the way the fried egg was prepared, with the spice, vege and all, fried to a crisp on the sides while still maintaining the overall softness. Overall a very tasty treat indeed, but one which should not be indulged in often for health's sake.
