Dark Chocolate Gelato [RM6]

Dark Chocolate Gelato [RM6]

Personally I love the dark chocolate very much as the flavor was very intense and the texture were creamy, I would say it was close to ice cream but it wasn't. The caramel gelato was decent and not as sweet as I have expected. However it faired less interesting after I tried the dark chocolate. Slightly melty, would be better if it was alittle more frozen like the dark chocolate's. [RM6 each]

Yam Puff

Yam Puff

Yam puff is one of my favorite dim sum. Being in a dim sum place, it has become one of my must try item. The yam puff here The fried outer layer broke upon contact. I am not complaining. The fillings was quite flavorful too.
Salad Prawn

Salad Prawn

Salad prawn is not my thing, knowing that the prawn might not be fresh. However it is like a must try for my boyfriend. It was crispy but still alittle tough. Prawns weren't spectacular. Overall, it was just a normal dish.

Taiwanese Fried Bun

Taiwanese Fried Bun

I have never heard of this Taiwanese fried bun in a dim sum shop before. It was my first time trying it. This bun was quite special. It was slightly oily as it was fried but the filling was similar to siew long pao, which I quite liked it. Flavor wise, it was good; texture wise, could be better with crunching ingredients. The minced meat inside was quite lean to my liking. [RM2]

Pan Fried Soft Bun with Mixed Vegetable

Pan Fried Soft Bun with Mixed Vegetable

Perhaps most of us is familiar to xiao long pao. The dumpling wrapped in flour, loaded with minced meat in the pool of soup, is what xiao long pao is supposed to be. Similar to the concept of siao long pao, this was the bun version. I love the slight sourish in the dumpling, enhanced by the ginger soaked in vinegar. Though it was pan fried, it did not appear to me to be too oily.

Spinach with Salted Egg and Century Egg

Spinach with Salted Egg and Century Egg

The description alone was impressive, which was why we decided to order this to go with our rice. Loaded with two favorite eggs of mine, the flavor was just as predicted. It was very salty but the right type of saltiness that I would go for. Spinach was cooked to sogginess so that the flavor could blend better with the vegetable. It was more like a thicker version of spinach soup but so flavorful that you have to eat with rice!
