Prego has always been top of our dining list whenever we needed an Italian fix. What draws us there? They're famous for cheese pizza. Having tried a few cheese pizzas from other Italian restaurants, none can match up to what Prego has to offer. The pizza base isn't too thick nor is it too thin and the cheese topping the base is really yummy.
Pizza
Next up would be their spaghetti olio. Initially, they only had olio or olio with chicken. I preferred my olio to always be seafood and the waiter said that it was possible. So, instead of plain olio, seafood was added to it. The spaghetti was cooked to just the right texture and with the some chilli, it did have a little kick of spiciness. i am sure for those who doesn't want it spicy, you could let the waiter know and it can be done. The amount of seafood in the dish was also generous. I think I finished my spaghetti even before I could finish my seafood.
Seafood Olio
The next dish we had was their beef. i can't really recall the name but it was a combination of T-bone and some other part. This steak was also about 300gm and it is definitely to be shared. For what we paid, I think this dish was really worth the money. We had it medium rare and it came out as we had wanted it to be. We had always liked our steak such as it would be juicy and just nice to chew on.
Staek
Do also try out their tiramisu as I would reckon it to be one of the best in town. Overall, Prego is just the nice place for dates, casual dining or even for a pizza fix.
