本来今天和同事们“组成”的为食团要吃Sushi Zanmai，可是去到店前面看到很多人在前面排队。。我们这些上班族的吃饭时间是一个小时罢了,所以当然没有这些事件在那里慢慢排队吃饭的咯~~那么去哪里呢？还是吃回日本餐不过不是寿司了现在是日本拉面。在这里不用排队就可以吃了。

大伙们坐下Order了还不到十分钟面就开始上桌了，超快的服务速度。这里的拉面特别之处，在那蛋里。。外面是全熟的蛋不过蛋黄却是在半熟的情况，很特别。这里的叉烧也不是省油的，叉烧的香味在嘴里翻滚中~~回味无穷。汤就还可以，不是很浓的汤味然后有一层油在上面喝起来嘴巴油油的。。感觉不是太好。面条的口感不错，瞒有弹性的不过看起来有点像云吞面。。如果把面换去比较厚的日本面条或许会更加好。

一碗面大概十八零吉左右，不会太贵当然也不算便宜，可是值得一试。

Irish restaurant had been a stranger to me for years as we rarely had a real chance of indulging in Irish cuisine, and now we no longer need to take hours of long flight just to grab a taste of Irish cuisine, it is now made available in Malones Irish restaurant and bar. Not known to me before being invited by my friend to have Friday night hangout, i was told by friends that it is a place you rather call bar than a restaurant as most patron here drink beer, so i guess having a few pint of beer is inescapable.

Decorated using open bar and vintage concept, it is quite a comfortable restaurant bar you like to visit especially during your Friday night session with your love one or colleague. Staff here are quite busy with their work, as we enter we almost ignored by the staff and we have to personally ask for help from the staff to be seated, i guess the part of coordination was not done perfectly. Served in a stylish beer glass, the Guinness served with this glass make looking at the beer itself is so enjoyable and tempting to drink it. Couple with the good environment given by the restaurant atmosphere and the patron who chat and have fun as they enjoying their beer, it is no wonder such a place is full with office worker during Friday night. Drinking beer without any snack is kinda boring, so the four of us decided to order some hot dog and mini burger to feed ourselves while chit chatting and slowly sipping on the beer. Thus hot dog, which i forgotten the name , is served with chili and hot dog slices, fit in with our beer as it add some spices to our taste bud on the ice cold beer. Texture of the hot dog meat was good and juicy, definitely a good side dish to couple with beer Well, this one isn't that great, a stack of mini meat with some vegetables and very small bun. It is quite hard to eat these burger without getting your hand dirty as its small size make the handling process fairly hard. As you chew the burger, you find that it is actually very hard to bite and the texture of the bun is not great either. I will not recommend this dish, it sound nice but it does not taste nice at all.

On this special Friday occasion, we are lucky to witness an Irish band to perform with a Japanese drummer, though it can be quite noisy but i see most of the customer here enjoying the loud music and even dance together, this scenery you won't normally find it in restaurant, but in Malones it is still possible. In a nutshell, pricing wise is quite expensive and not really value for money especially for food. However it is disputably a place to hang out for your Friday beer, prices for beer seems more reasonable than the price for food. Credit card and cash are both accepted, service crew is quite attentive and sometimes come over to ask you if you want to buy more beer, can be quite annoying for some customer.

Early morning, i am awaken to drag myself to accompany someone to join in an appointment in Publika. The nearest cafe i happened to spot is Wondermilk cafe. At first glance it looks like a coffee house, but over here they don't sell coffee but instead they sell Milk. Though they did serve a number of drinks & food, you can find sandwiches, grill meat, cup cakes & a number of drinks. But since the shop name is "Wondermilk" and i am not against or resist to drink milk, ordering one is not an issue since i am alone anyway. Now, as i walk in to the restaurant. There are a number of people queuing in front of me, i took the opportunity to snap pictures while did a few round of quick browsing on their menu and decide to have a toffee wondermilk & Honey mustard chicken sandwich as my meal. Customers are seen busy browsing the stores like i did, well they sell quite a number of items like cup cakes & some English cookies. I guess people just like to have a quiet environment to sit down & have a cup of coffee...opps~~i meant milk. Now the seating area, it is facing a window. Just a one straight line of tables with steel chairs, with a number of wooden tables nearby. Facing the window & drinking the coffee...opps...I meant milk again seriously. Sitting here while drinking gives me an opportunity to look at passerby & what people are doing, not to mention the girls that walk pass the cafe, it gave me something to look at while waiting and drinking. Guys, you know where you should be sitting already? Now when you order food or probably drinks, that they need to take time to prepare. In snowflake they gave you a lighting plastic and it vibrate when your dessert is ready, over here? Guess what? They gave me a canned, like a canned food with number on it. So the staff will know which customer they need to serve the food to. Smart, really. Economical & special, unlike those with snowflake, this one is much cheaper and serve the purpose for me to remember them, as the cafe who gave me a "canned food" Oh ya, the setback is they only accept credit card if my order is above RM50, now i personally don't like this, especially when i don't have cash with me, i have to walk long way down just to withdraw some cash nearby.

Staff here, the cashier. Is like coming to work with no mood, before i ordered i hesitated on what to order. But this cashier, is not lending me a hand or give me some recommendation on their dish. So i have to rely on my instinct then, please give some help to people especially when he or she is lose as to what to order, working here make you know what is the best food or at least we, customer assume you did so please help us next time. Having fresh flowers on their table further make the experience good, as if it is so natural here (It is real flowers), i mean the environment. Now the toffee wondermilk, in a small cup cost RM7.00 quite expensive for a milk. It is so sweet and my brain tell me nothing else, now...How wonder is the "Wondermilk" now? beside utterly sweet? Now the sandwich, serve with few pieces of vegetables with some scramble potatoes mixed with eggs, cucumber. Now the bread, they are using the whole meal bread, a healthier choice. Inside the sandwich we have few pieces of chicken breast meat with a pieces of cucumber and the Honey mustard sauce just blend in nice and perfect. Bite into the sandwich, the honey mustard sauce that blend with the chicken meat perfectly, make every bite of the sandwich is so juicy, the sweet sauce make the chicken breast meat not too "boring" to chew. Chewing chicken breast can be painful because it is generally hard, but chewing with honey mustard makes it more enjoyable.

Every 10th of the month from May until December 2015, Old town give away promotion where with RM10 you get to purchase a set meal (with choice of Minced chicken rice, BBQ chicken rice, Soup Pan Mee and Asam Laksa) with one drink (choice of Coke, Sprite and Grape Fanta) 

Come the day of the month, their outlet is Pavilion is crowded with office folks trying to grab this good deal, as perceived by many while myself I think it is just normal (You could buy chicken rice with drink outside for lesser price) but I guess because the name is Old town, so everyone think the deal is good.

Staff will usually be under staffed to handle the sudden big crowd, so usually we have to wait for a while before being served with food, and they don't even have time to prepare fork and spoon for me. 

Food wise, I ordered the minced chicken rice. Portion is not very big but the rice did have the traditional chicken rice aroma. The minced chicken is quite salty and a bit spicy, while the soft boiled egg is broken so I can't really taste the egg there, the vegetable is okay not very hard, and the grape Fanta is good 

我本人对Starbucks 咖啡店的咖啡没有什么特别好感，原因是他的咖啡味道不是很重咖啡豆的香味也不是很好。这杯Caramel Macchiato 从表面上看起来美观，浓浓的牛奶上有一层的Caramel，喝起来的时候别有一番享受。浓浓的牛奶味加上带甜的Caramel酱，是唤起味觉的开始。不过当那层的Caramel加牛奶被喝完的时候，下面的咖啡就没有什么特别了。咖啡的香味和浓度都比不上许多的中小型咖啡店，喝底下咖啡的时候虽然有牛奶和Caramel来在这个饮料添加一点色彩不过还是比上不足比下有余，这牛奶和Caramel在这方面发挥不了太大的作用。如果要夺得咖啡品尝者的欢心那么Starbucks就得花多点心思在咖啡豆上了，饮料只是好看不好喝时没有什么用的。
