blue berry muffin Smile Aug 18, 2013

I made a trip to delifrance for their delicious muffins. I got myself the blue berry one. it only cost RM3.80! The muffin was light and fluffy. It was not dry at all. I like the buttery fragrance that it gives off when you bite into it. The blue berry flavour was really good, it was not too strong. The muffin was very moist. It practically crumbles in your mouth. it was indeed delicious.

I ordered the mee sua for lunch as I was very pretty cold that day. Their mee sua is simply delicious. It came with meat balls. The meat balls tasted really good. It was bouncy and have this QQ feeling. The mee sua was cooked perfectly, so smooth and delicious. The soup was another killer, it was so tasty. The texture is pretty thick, it was not too salty nor was it too bland. One of the nicer mee sua I have tasted around.

I had a really heavy lunch and I felt pretty bloated. I wanted something sour to aid in my digestion. I decided to try the lemon ice cream from kindori. I really got what I wanted. The ice cream was indeed sour. My tolerance for sour food is pretty high so I found it just right for me. After finishing up the entire ice cream, i did not feel so bloated. So I guess the lemon ice cream did help me to digest my heavy meal. Great dessert!

pork chop cutlet Smile Jul 23, 2013   (Related Review)

The weekly family lunch was at Kim Gary. They really serve authentic Hong Kong food. I decided to go western and order their pork chop cutlet. This is one of the best pork chops I have eaten. The pork chop was simply so tender and the meat was totally juicy. I know pork chop if overcooked can turn out dry and tough but this was definitely not the case for Kim Gary. They served it with a corn cob, really juicy and delicious.

chawanmushi Smile Jul 23, 2013   (Related Review)

Every time my daughter and I head to sushi king, we would at least order a chawanmushi each. Sometimes we could even eat two or three. Their chawanmushi is really good, it was really smooth, simply glides down the throat. It was just so tasty, not too salty. The flavour of the egg simply explodes in your mouth at every bite. We both recommend this dish! A must order for us!
