It was a pretty cold day at the office so when my colleagues and I went to ke ren Lai for lunch, I ordered their wanton soup noodles. It was soupy and good to keep me warm. I simply love the soup, it was not too salty and very tasty. The wanton is really good, it was very juicy and delicious. The noodles is very chewy yet does not stick to your teeth. It was absolutely good!

I wanted a crepe that has both sweet and savory elements in it so I got myself the chocolate and cheese crepe from crepe signature. The chocolate gave it a sweetish flavour. It was pretty rich and chocolaty. While the cheese on the other hand did taste a little salty. I love this combination, it kind of balance well with each other. The price was pretty reasonable too!

I was feeling a little under the weather so my colleague helped me to takeaway the mushroom pork porridge from xiao bar wang. It was so delicious, the porridge itself tasted very tasty. It was not too salty nor was it too bland. The pork was very tender. The mushroom tasted very juicy. The portion was pretty reasonable for the price I paid. It was indeed a nice warm bowl of food!

My daughter and I decided to indulge ourselves with something delicious after a long week of hard work. We ordered the pricey garlic oysters from oyster king. There were only three pieces and they charged RM12.80 for it. Well, for them to charge this price and expect people to pay for it, it must taste delicious. And it was! The oysters were plump and juicy, not to mention the size of each oyster. It was really huge! The garlic sauce they topped the oyster well was absolutely to die for. The freshness of the oyster is undeniable, they tasted awfully sweet.

My daughter and I decided to share an ice cream cone from kindori. We got their chocolate flavour. It was really good. The chocolate they use was simply rich and chocolaty. It had this bitter sweet taste, more sweet than bitter though. The ice cream had this burst of flavours taste in your mouth. It was very smooth. I like how creamy it tasted. Simply enjoyed it!!
