Chinese food Smile Jun 18, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles

Walking through Sungai Wang, sometimes I rue that there is no new stalls.

This time, I tried Chinese food at Xian Ding Wei, because they have daily deals.

Their food comes with a drink ,either normal or milk tea depending on which set you order.

It was around RM15 or so. I personally found the food to be appetising, and I loved the set meal design and the hot soup. The chicken was good too smile

Milk Tea OK Jun 18, 2012
Categories : Taiwanese | Stall / Warung | Juices / Bubble Tea / Tea / Yogurt

I confess that I don't always follow the latest franchises such as Gong cha and chatime. Recently though, my bro bought 2 cups of Gong cha milk tea, 1 with bubble adding and 1 without.

The milk tea is highly acclaimed , said to be the best among all. For me it was nice but still above average, there isn't anything special as people say. Bubble milk tea or plain milk tea? Its really your choice smile

Sushi, my love... Smile Jun 17, 2012

I love sushi Zanmai, among all of the sushi outlets. No doubt the Garden's one is always slow (Due to the constantly full place!) and you have to line up like crazy...But its also the one with the best food with the cheapest prices among the others( sushi king, sakae sushi...)

Chicken Katsu Don. My all time favourite. With chicken, egg, purple cabbage and some yellow sour radish, which is nice when eaten with the rice!

Unagi roll. Lovely. Unagi is my facourite too...

Some other chicken dish. This place has enough fillers if you're not in for sushi smile

Lunch at Papa John's OK Jun 17, 2012

Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta | Halal

Papa John's is in the IOI new wing, and just like Pizza Hut, it also has lunch deals from RM9.90.

Part of the family set. Pizza for 6 people (the pizza is a tad small at 9 inches...)

Tasty though, but not enough to fill the tummy...

Various colourful sauces and condiments...

Breadstick. Equal to Pizza Hut's version.

Good place to eat, but I reckon Pizza Hut is still the more economical and tasty + more variety choice.

truly a Gem Smile Jun 17, 2012

Gem restaurant is a place that was there 10 years ago when I was still a school kid... smile I passed it on my way to school every single day.

The interior is well decorated, Indian flavours with 3D pictures.

The table was set, with 4 heavy cups on the table.

Crab soup, definitely a must try. Tasty soup with 1/4 a crab.

Appetizer, chicken ball/ drummet. Was awesome. Non spicy as well.

Chicken and lamb. The fried mushroom is lovely(I don't know the name), and even non mushroom lovers might find it delightful!

Abundance of food. The naan there, when taken while hot/ warm, is heavenly. Reasonably priced as well.

This, I remember. Its called Kulfi, its a type of Indian ice cream made of coconut shavings (not just milk). Seriously yummy, a MUST TRY eventhough that portion cost RM9.90. smile

Indian food is never cheap. So if you want to eat, eat at a good place like this lol But be warned...Things that they say are "not spicy" might just cause you to tear like crazy!!
