I went to Makan Makan Coffee house on a groupon deal. The ambiance is lovely.

The exterior.

They have many many asian dishes, but they rarely refill it. The salad was ok, fresh but not much variety. There wasn't any cheese choices too.

They have fresh oysters and noodles etc. The are 2 types of oysters, the orange based and the white based ones. I personally feel the white ones are nicer than the orange ones, less raw taste.

They also have chefs frying stuff, like some stir fry stuff and some burger. Their burger is like ramly's burger on the street. Alot of bread, not much patty. Normal tasting, nothing special.

Kenny Rogers  OK Jun 23, 2012

Kenny Roger's prides itself for using "less salt, less sugar". I guess it has in a way affected their dishes as well.

The corn and carrot is by far the best, being soft and tender and sweet. The cheese and macaroni does not disappoint as well, but lacks cheese taste! The potato is slightly oily, and does not use much herbs :/

The chicken here is too dry! Luckily take drumstick/ thigh part was not too bad, but was small piece. The breast meat was too tough and dry to chew sad

Sushi King  OK Jun 18, 2012

In this country, sushi is a hot commodity. No wonder the "Fast food " version of sushi also appear, in the form of sushi king.

Sushi King is famous for their kaitan belt sushi. For me, I find their sushi ok, freshness mediocre, but the choice limited.

The cheaper ones like tuna sushi are expensive, make me feel like making my own sushi... :/

Curry rice! in Sushi King. Guess they have to cater to asian palates too... smile

Milk Tea OK Jun 18, 2012

I confess that I don't always follow the latest franchises such as Gong cha and chatime. Recently though, my bro bought 2 cups of Gong cha milk tea, 1 with bubble adding and 1 without.

The milk tea is highly acclaimed , said to be the best among all. For me it was nice but still above average, there isn't anything special as people say. Bubble milk tea or plain milk tea? Its really your choice smile

Lunch at Papa John's OK Jun 17, 2012

Papa John's is in the IOI new wing, and just like Pizza Hut, it also has lunch deals from RM9.90.

Part of the family set. Pizza for 6 people (the pizza is a tad small at 9 inches...)

Tasty though, but not enough to fill the tummy...

Various colourful sauces and condiments...

Breadstick. Equal to Pizza Hut's version.

Good place to eat, but I reckon Pizza Hut is still the more economical and tasty + more variety choice.
