Les Toast Cry Aug 17, 2012
Categories : Sweets/Snack | Bakery / Cake / Kuih

Les toast looked really good from the outside, and they had a "buy 3 free 1" small bun promotion going on, hence I decided to go it.

This is the inside, you can see lots of freshly baked bread, alot of them with whole grain which is really healthy! I bought 4 buns including garlic bread( RM2.50), chocolate banana(RM3.60) and double mexico. I felt that the bread was overly priced and the bread was not nice. It tasted very artificial, and the main component was icing only. Won't recommend it.

Sakae Sushi @ Berjaya  Cry Jun 24, 2012

I like Sakae for many reasons. One of them is the fact that I order through an Ipad. How cool is that?

The fried salmon, recently offered for lunch deal set. The waitress did not give specific instructions, we're supposed to order from the waitresses but we did not know and ended up ordering from the Ipad, and got charged the expensive rate. The salmon was nicely done, tender, flavourful with the sauce although somewhat dry without it.

The teriyaki rice. I have to say that the portion is very small, it barely took up half a bowl sad Taste wise ok, but I prefer not so much onions in it. The chicken pieces lack gravy to go with it.

Pizza Hut Cry Jun 23, 2012

Pizza Hut has good food, especially pizzas. However, I find that their mushroom soup is just too watery compared to last time.

Their 7 layer pizza, which was promising on advertisement. As you can see it is very thin, and taste wise is a disappointment. Even my cheesy lava personal pizza tasted better. It lacked cheese, the taste was bland.

The soft drink that came with it was a relieve. Glad to sip on sweet pepsi after such a horrible meal..

Haven-ly food...not Cry Jun 17, 2012

I've always heard people saying "Don't go to a place during peak seasons. And after my experience at Have, I personally subscribe to that saying too.

our 3 course meal was expensive (RM50) but poor.

Mushroom soup was watered down, worst than cambell soup sad

Measly looking scrawny pieces of lamb chop. Worst meal ever.

Fish and chips. Ok, but but not worth the price paid. (This is another main course).

Don't fall for their "premium ice cream". Its just a small 50cents worth of mat kool cup ice cream. Most expensive meal and tasteless of my life :S

Hartz Chicken Buffet @ Pyramid Cry Jun 09, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Buffet | Steaks / Chops | Seafood

Hartz Chicken Buffet recently renovated and shifted to a new site (facing sunway lagoon). Ambiance did look better than the previous location, and if I may say so , the spread at Hartz did not look too bad.

But first sights do lie. After choosing from their limited amount of food,we tucked in hungrily. But to our horror, the spread at 5.30pm was really bad, to put it mildly. Both the soup choices were sour, all their salad with mayonaise was sour(I can't imagine how many days they left the food there!) and the Asian dishes were just...bad and unappetising.

The only edible (and perhaps nice) was the Chicken, especially the country fried ones. But service was slow, and they did not replenish it with new stock eventhough the chicken was halfway gone. There were limited amount of chicken drumstick and thigh, and the other parts were just...dry. sad

They gave me a voucher saying that if I come back, I can get 40% of my next meal. My verdict? Not a chance. I'm just relieved I did not get a tummy ache.
