Love their chillies!

The xiao long pao is average, not bad yet nothing to shout about.

The pork chop la mien is plain, suitable for people who dislike explosive flavours. As for the pork chop, I still prefer kim gary's pork chop.

The hot sour la mien is a little bit more on the sour side but it's acceptable.

Once we walked in, we are quite stunned to see that there is no one, we actually thought that we are the only customer. haha, funny that we have such thoughts because people begin to come one after another and finally the place is filled up but there are only like 5 or 6 tables =.=

Anyway back to the food, i wanted to try duck confit salad initially but i got so thrill with the menu that i wanted to try all (greedy me) so i end up ordering Ebi Menchi Katsu while 'my partner in food' ordered Wagyu Burger. Both cost for RM20 each exclude 6% government tax and the most important reminder ' Parking is COMPLIMENTARY for deli's customer' haha.. this is one good touch to sweeten the whole experience (at least it is for us) though the place can be quite warm due to the heat from outside and small space.

So i start with Ebi Menchi Katsu, it is basically a deep fried shrimp burger. it was delicious! the burger itself is packed with pungent flavours but not too overwhelming because the shrimp batter is mixed with chicken. the teriyaki sauce and mayonnaise was good as well, not sure whether it is made from scratch or ready made. The burger is crispy and the shrimp is very fresh together with a soft panini bread (i guess so) it is close to perfection. The fries is soft on the inside and crispy on the outside but a little too salty for us, and not to forget, the fries is hand cut by them so it is fresh, not frozen and processed with plenty of food preservative so though fries is unhealthy but still this is way better than the frozen one.

Next is the wagyu burger, point from my partner in food the burger is filled with smoky and good flavours, the meat patty is soft, tender and juicy not like some place with hard and rubbery patty. First time trying wagyu, indeed true to its famous fine standard, very high quality meat! and at RM20, it is a steal deal.

super disappointed with the dinner buffet spread. was really excited at first due to the previous good comments and reviews but after last night, I guess I'll never visit again. I felt that we had been fooled compared to the previous deal which was so much cheaper and also better in variety and quality. maybe this is a strategic marketing to promote by first providing good variety and quality with a cheaper price so that everyone will talk good and recommend to their friends and family. and after having a good image, they increased the price because they know a lot of people will purchase it but then they reduced the variety and quality so that they can gain more profit. Besides that, the service is not good, it's probably good to others but not to me and my friend, the server did not refill our water from the beginning till the end even when they come and clear the plates, one of them came to clear the plate and saw the glass is empty then only he came and refill but we are already leaving by then, I saw them refilling for others without them asking for it. I guess maybe it's because we are young and they don't bother to give us good service because I get that a lot but please keep in mind that we are your future customer so never neglect us, this goes to all the core services based companies.

well, I would not describe it as a buffet because it does not have a buffet spread like normal buffet, instead the waiter brings the food and serve it to you which is fancy for some people but not me, I'd rather self serve and take what I like and as much as I like! so overall I am not satisfied because I did not consumed as much I expected to and the flavor is just so-so.

for the martinis and mojitos, i can't really say much because I'm no expert in cocktails or liquor so it's okay, not bad. we have lychee martinis and of course mojitos with mint leaves.

back to the food, variety is bad, if you want to called it a buffet then it should be like a buffet spread or at least like an ala carte buffet which there should be at least 20 items but there are only around 7 items. actually personally, I felt a little cheated by the deal but it's the past anyway and all is good.

the soup, scramble egg and potato salad was okay, nothing special

the meat is just so so. quite dry and tough. some is also bland in flavor, the pork is nice but a little too salty.

so sorry to say but I would not visit again.

Plain Poppyseed Bagel with Cream Cheese (RM7.90)

it is not that easy to look for bagel in the klang valley, tried starbucks, dome, the loaf and so on, no results. finally found it in coffee bean. quite disappointed to know that such common food like bagel is rare to look for, we should improve more on our food's variety. get into new recipes from other countries and so on.

anyway, please ignore my passionate complaint on our food's variety.

okay, now about the bagel, it is good as compared to the one from ss15 subang (I forgot the name of the shop) where the bagel was hard solid, but this one was soft and chewy plus the cream cheese, not so much cheesy taste but more creamy taste. so it was good though the problem is not much variety again, basically the bagel is all the same but with different fillings, while the one in ss15, subang have a lot of variety of bagels which is awesome, though you may need to reheat it in your home before consuming it.
