Chocolate Chicken OK Aug 16, 2012   (Related Review)

This is called the Pollo con Mole, which is a whole chicken drumstick with lots of chocolate sauce! We did not like this, because the chocolate sauce was quite bitter, like dark chocolate. It was very weird, also because the sauce was thick. Even though the chicken was soft and tender, we couldn't enjoy it because of the creamy chocolate sauce that had leave a bitter feeling in the mouth later. In summary, some people will like this, but it will not be like by everybody.

Fajitas Smile Aug 16, 2012   (Related Review)

Fajitas at Fresca have a mix of beef and chicken (RM 41). Fajitas are perhaps one of the most value for money items on Fresca's menu. Fajita dishes come served sizzling hot with accompanying guacamole, salsa and cream, and three pieces of tortilla. Both the beef and chicken pieces are very tasty; the beef is juicy and tender, while the chicken is soft and sweet. The salsa sauce is not too sour, so we like it a lot. When wrap inside the tortilla, must put a little bit of all the sauce so it taste refreshing and not so dry. Overall we enjoy this very much, a cheap yet very satisfying meal.

Fat Basterd Smile Aug 16, 2012   (Related Review)

the Fat Basterd (RM 28) in all it's towering glory. The Fat Basterd, if the name hasn't scared you yet, is a monster of a burger, consisting of two beef patties sandwiching a fried egg and topped with cheddar cheese and bacon, in between a sesame bun.

Well, the Fat Basterd turned out to be a sloppy and messy burger to eat! The 2 beef patties are very thick and meaty, and taste very juicy and succulent. Combine together with the sauce, fried egg, and cheese, and the burger becomes not too salty and not too sweet. There's also a lot of black sesame on the burger bun, which gives the bun a good sesame flavour.

Focaccia Cry Aug 16, 2012   (Related Review)

The first time we were there, Wendy went for the Rustico Panini (RM 14.90) which was crispy chicken with tomato & lettuce between freshly made focaccia bread. Since the aim of icook is to highlight other lesser-known Italian staples, we thought the focaccia might be a good place to start.

Sadly, we were not satisfied with this sandwich because there was very little filling inside. Although the chicken was tasty and warm out of the oven, it was not enough because the focaccia bread is very thick. Fresh bread, but still very thick. Overall, we tasted more bread than chicken, lettuce or tomato. Not one that we will return for.

Icecream Mix OK Aug 16, 2012   (Related Review)

I Scream occupies a corner in Tropicana City Mall, next to the Giordano and opposite Sushi Tei. The shoplot is quite big but there are only a few tables for guests.

This time we went, I decided on the mix so we ended up with a scoop of Strawberry Bites and two scoops of Classic Vanilla. Famous Amos cookie crumbs was the topping we chose to add inside the mix. There are also other toppings like oreos or cornflakes.

The result was very good, because the topping was mixed well inside the ice cream. The strawberry ice cream was also very nice, with strong strawberry flavour, and also full of real strawberry bits. As for the class vanilla, it was very milky and creamy, but not too sweet. Very nice combo! Surprisingly, the Famous Amos didn't taste so nice. The waffle biscuit was also not very crunchy sadly.
