One of my super favourite cafe! mad

Fall in love with poco since my first visit due to the cosy environment and desserts here! Their food is simple homemade food as it shop name - homemade. Hence, don't except high class restaurant food here. It's just simply delicious. I love the concept of the shop - vintage and retro, it just suit me! Been here several times for lunch and dessert, and my favourite - almond tofu! tongue

Best Korean Restaurant Smile Dec 28, 2011

After trying too much western food, I decided to go for Korean food. I always love Korean food especially tofu seafood soup and bibimbap. As always, I’m going to “Daorae”, my No.1 choice of Korean food restaurant in Malaysia so far right now. tongue They serve food very fast, clean and fresh. While the prices are quiet standard for such Korean BBQ restaurant in KL.

As expected from Korean restaurant, you will get an assortment of side dishes. Daorae side dishes are great especially the egg and lotus root they provide. The side dishes are refillable though, as well as the simple and nice roasted Korean tea.

As usual, I will order dolsot bimbibap – my fav all the time! It is rice mixed with minced chicken, egg and lots of vege in a hot stone bowl. Beside, we do order a spicy kimchi soup too. It comes with seafood and pork belly. The taste is great, and spicy enough! Highly recommended is their seafood pancakes. Order this when you go with a bunch of friends (3-4 ppl) as it is quite big portion.

Here we go, as there is a new opening of Japanese Sukiyaki theme in Pavillion called Suki – ya, which my visit were treated with varieties of fresh thin slice of Chicken, Beef , and Lamb to dip in any 2 of 3 favorite soup! My fav - sukiyaki soup & kimchi!

They have a copy of instruction, basically guide you on how to eat with each different sauces they provide.

The meat they served is succulent, and whilst if you dip those fresh meat into beaten raw egg and dipping into the boiling stock, and topping with misotare sauce ; the taste just so heavenly.

Personally I like the Ponzu ( Shoyu with vinegar ), because dipping with it vegetables make it taste more sweeter and melt in your tongue. tongue

Where else the meat (lamb or beef ) is best served with misotare sauce. Some sense of spice and miso dwelling in your senses! You just can keep on ordering those fresh slice meat over and over again and of course don’t waste your table food yup.
You even can create your own dipping sauce. This restaurant serve premium pasteurized egg, and to enjoy, simply dip freshly cooked meat into egg.

What I love most is the vegetables - mushroom, cabbage , raddish, carrot add flavor to your stock. And the best part is to finish your stock with fresh udon or soba!
Icing on the cake will be the dessert = Japanese ice cream. Sprinkle some peanut chips or jelly to enjoy. mad

All the fun and foodie pleasure will only cost around RM 34 ++.

The best : The fresh slice sukiyaki meat of all choices and fresh stock for your choice, superb customer service. The dipping sauce is one special keynote to start our appetite.
Maybe improve : Varieties of dessert shocked

Recommended Dish(es):  sukiyaki soup

It is Self Service here, so make your choice, you can ask the staff to cut your buns/ breads or slice your loaves. They have variety of bread to choose, and almost everything is nice here! You will never get enough!

They served - Fresh breads, cakes, pastries, pasta desserts and coffee..price range from RM5 - RM20

Best Coconut Cake! Smile Dec 16, 2011

Ben's has been my favourite restaurant since it 's opening at Pavilion. I love the cozy environment and its plain white decorations are just pleasing. The concept of the restaurant almost similar with "Delicious". A wonderful fusion of East & West can be found here such as salads, sandwiches, pasta, and asian dishes. lol

Main dishes at Ben’s are priced from RM 20 to RM 40, with majority in the RM 20+ range. Thumb up for the food here! My favourite is the chicken sandwiches and duck confit spaghetti! The spaghetti is just great, tossed in olive oil and served with strips of tender and tasty duck, crispy in all the right places.

Never forget their dessert! The moist coconut cake really capture my heart. The taste is just great, with vanilla cream and shredded coconut in the middle of the cake. Yummy!!! tongue
