Thumbs Up for Churros! Smile Jan 13, 2016

My boyfriend and I went to have desserts after dinner in Meteora as my he commented that the churros here were quite good within klang valley. I am a big fan of churros, and I made some for myself by frying some normal choux pastry.Instead of going through hassles, I am still hoping to find a place that serve decent churros, knowing that the fact that a good churros can hardly be found in Malaysia.

I dont know why, but every time churros are introduce to the market by some shops or cafe, it didn't last long. 😞 The churros turned out fine, and I love the generous sprinkles of cinnamon sugar. Well, since cinnamon is a very 'subjective' ingredient, some may not like it.

Served with Chocolate Sauce and Caramel Sauce

As for the sauces, I liked the caramel sauce over the chocolate sauce. The chocolate sauce looks thick but the flavour is not as strong as its appearance. Not sure what type of chocolate they used but oh well, coverture chocolate is still the best, but price would be much higher anyway. Nevertheless, the Meteora's churros is one of the best I can find within this area, and by far one of the best I've tasted in Klang Valley.

Oh ya, and yes, I love their hot chocolate with a scoop of ice cream at the top served in a cute little mug, (they have special name for it, but I kinda forget already. mad)But there one concern about the drink,  it is  better to drink fast, because the ice cream melts pretty fast, and it may turns out the drink being too "gao" or thick.

I love the serenity over here, yes, as usual,  power plugs are always my best friends, since I often need it for work. smile It's pretty chill and cozy over here, with the beautiful lightings and slow paced environment.

The Best Chocolate Cake in Town! Smile Jan 13, 2016

This chocolate cake is a taste of divine goodness! I can't stop munching more and more, though knowing the fact the cake is kinda fattening, but the moistness, fluffiness and richness of the chocolate makes us forgets about the fact! Not so sure about the exact ingredients they put, but the taste of the couverture chocolate is so rich, no artificial after taste and no rancid oil taste at all. It makes me fell in love again!
I ain't boasting about it, but everyone in my family agree that this is one of the best chocolate cake we had. Without any frosting and toppings, the cake is perfect by its own, and it was the first time we finish the whole cake on the spot. In fact, the cake did not make us feel bored or disgust even after few pieces, it's more appetizing after every bite.
1 kg of the chocolate cake cost us around RM 60; to be honest, it is reasonable and worth the price! The cake is an ideal to cater people from all age groups and preferences, since chocolate is one of the most common flavour and the perfect level of sweetness caters young children to elder adults without having worries about gaining extra guilt from the toppings or frostings. I'll personally give the cake a perfect 10!

Good Food, and gets better! Smile Jan 13, 2016

It is the third hipster cafe located in PFCC, Puchong, and it looks pretty classy from the outside. My dad and I went to have dinner, and we had really good time. In fact, there service and quality of food improves a lot as we heard a lot of compliments through words of mouth, and my sister specially mentioned that their Carbonara is really good.
The service over here were kind, friendly and sincere. I can still remember the owner's big smile, though I can't recall her face clearly. They were really helpful in suggesting the menu items as well. We ordered the Signature Dino Eggs, it's actually a resemblance of Scotch Eggs, with ground meats encapsulating a soft-boiled egg. These eggs are bombs man, well I love sushi king's golden eggs a lot, this is like the upgraded version with the addition of meat.

Thumbs up for it! Besides that, we ordered the man tou with pork belly, that's really something rare to be found in cafes! My "very-cina" dad were so happy to see this, and ordered it without hesitation. Guess what, my dad liked it so much, and he said that it's quite interesting to find some hipster cafe selling good pork belly or char siew.

Upon finishing those food, it feels like we are missing out of something. So we ordered bacon carbonara pasta, and it was so good. The egg was perfect, soft and wobbly like the Japanese Onsen Egg! As you toss the pasta, the the eggs coats every strand of the pasta, giving you a creamy sensation when you eat it. Yums! I personally love they "sticky" feeling the food leaves on your lips, contributed by the egg yolk. 👍😁 The bacon pieces were fried till slight
crispy yet chewy, goes really well with the pasta.

All in all, it is definitely a place that worth coming back. The price was quite reasonable yet the foods are marvelous, and you even get to indulge in such serene environment!

This place is another gem of Puchong whereby it serves really good honey thick toast with Kapiti Ice Cream at reasonable price! The portion of the toast is pretty generous I would say, besides the buttered thick toast, two huge scoops of ice creams were served, accompanied by whipped cream as well. Such sinful the honey toast is, but sometimes, good things make you forget about the 'fat' word. mad

I love the desserts over here, guess what, there's a time where I'm really stressed bout my assignment, this is the place that feeds me good desserts and chase my doomed days away! There's another jasmine mille crepe cake, which is another favourite of mine, and my mom's too. The cake wasn't overly sweet yet, the fragrance of the jasmine flower lingers in your mouth, with a mild green tea end note, soothes your mood and your taste buds. I was so happy to know that it's from Vanilla Mille Crepe! Then I could buy the whole cake and stuff it in all by myself. lol

I've tried the Salmon Benedict as well, and I love how generous they are by giving perfectly poached eggs, not one but two! Thick toast is used instead of english muffins but it works fine too!
Waffles with strawberries, bananas, apples and topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.

There goes the waffle! Although it is not the best I've tasted, but for me, it is still quite good.

The place provides good wi-fi connections (I'm serious!😁), no doubt it is one of my favorite spot for assignments! Moreover, there are plenty of plugs all over the place, even for the tables on the centre, the plugs can be found on the floor, it is really convenient for those who needs power supply for their gadgets to work on. The environment is really comfortable and peaceful. I guess the interior is quite spacious, it doesn't sound noisy even when everyone is talking. I'll keep visiting this place, no worries!

Definitely Coming Back! Smile Jan 10, 2016

The restaurants serves delicious Chinese cuisine indeed! My family and I often go to the restaurants as the food was quite awesome. The dishes we we ordered were served hot, and it feels extremely fresh from the stove! I personally don't really eat Loh Mee, but in here, it's a tragedy not to taste their Loh Mee. I was quite skeptical about the taste, but my dad keep asking me to try, so ended I up I had 3 small bowls with the soup bottoms up! In fact, the appearance does not look like the usual thick and slimy Loh Mee (i'm sorry! 😂), in fact the soup's consistency is just right, and the flavour hit on the right point.

Besides that, dad ordered Drunken Cockles as an appetizer, and guess what, in my opinion, cockles have never been so nice. The drunken cockles are "flooded" with chopped garlic to remove the fish smells of it and to give them a pleasant approach for those who are afraid of cockles. If you don't mind garlic, you'll love the cockles like I do.

As for the lychee pork, I liked the taste a lot, since it's sweet and sour pork anyway, but I expect the outside be crispy and tender meat inside. As for the spinach, it was boom! The spinach was served in a rich and flavourful broth was allowing the veggies to soak up good amount of the essence! Yums!

We did not order any rice to go with the dish, and the dishes are good by its own. Besides that, the Loh Mee is good enough to replace carbs in my opinion.

There's only one thing I would comment is that the portions are quite small over here, as we went in by a group of 8 person and the waiter suggested a set menu but we had to ordered extra since the portion is insufficient. 😅

Despite the small issue, we had a marvelous dining experience here, even though it may take us some time to wait for a table. Kudos!
