The rising number of hipster cafes in this area draws crowd to themselve. Often I prefer a quiet, decent and simple cafe with good internet connection and power supply for work or small hangouts with some close friends. Indeed, Photografee was pretty hidden as compared to other bakeries and cafes in this area, it might not serves the best food in town or with the best environment, but it's definitely my first choice for work, assignments or heart to heart talks. The environment is quite spacious, with a generous number of power sockets (no jokes!), and simply enlightened with beautiful photographs hung on the wall. There's also a few sofas for seating, allowing a more casual kind of occasions and meet ups. The waffles served was not the best that I have tasted, and was pretty packed and hard. Nonetheless, the ice cream and the strawberry sauce saved the date! There's one thing I think they should improve, is to use riper strawberries. 😂 The beverages was okay, nothing special and fancy. It's good enough for those who just want to have cup of one or two. In conclusion, I would suggest the cafe not by hightlighting their food or beverages, but in overall. The menu offered was simple and not so expensive ; the environment and facilities provided are big plus points for me. It is definitely my place for doing work or maybe when I need to have my peace of mind. Other Ratings:Taste 3 | Environment 4 | Service 4 | Clean 4 | Value for Money 3 Recommend 0 |
It was a pleasant morning to have breakfast at 123 Gasing with a serene and quiet environment. I am happy to know that the cafe opens as early as 8.30am in the morning, allowing early birds to have their daily breakfast in such a such well furbished cafe. The cafe wasn't very obvious and the signage itself may look like its some usual kopitiam as the other restaurants nearby is only mamak and chinese kopitiam. However, the cafe looks so clean and simple yet it feels like having breakfast in some western country, hahaha! They offer early breakfast offers too such as Scramble Eggs and a cup of coffee cost around 10 ringgits. Well, but I ordered breakfast sandwich instead with a cup of flat white, and had purposely has chose the outdoor seating area to take photos with better natural lights. The breakfast sandwich was normal english muffins if Im not mistaken with hash brown, eggs, cheese, ham, lettuce and mayo, accompanied with french fries. Well, I expect they toast the bread but they didn't so I was a bit disappointed for the lost of buttery fragrance and taste.

What I like about it was the food wasn't oily at oil despite the fact that many items on the food requires frying. I sincerely has less guilt eating the food! 😁The flat white I ordered was good enough for me. I ain't a hardcore coffee drinker neither do I can judge which is nice or not. But I like the flat white since the mild sweetness from the frothed or heated milk is just right for me without addition of extra sugar. 😍 My experience in 123 Gasing was pleasant, I would to revisit it for a brunch or breakfast for it's serenity and comfortableness. 👍 Table Wait Time: 10 minute(s)

The new spots show wasn't that obvious in sight but the interior and the lighting of the shop were pretty attractive. The environment is extremely tranquil and comfortable, definitely can brighten up your day or gives you a peaceful mind. The cakes and pies were supplied by the Humble Pie, one of my favourite place for desserts! The spaghetti aglio olio served was seriously tasty, with generous amount of condiments such as mushrooms and veggies. It was an complete hearty meal.
With the choice of onion rings, wedges or French fries. (Smaller Eater Portion)

Nonetheless, the fried chicken was rather less than my expectation as the fried chicken doesn't taste fresh, seems that it fried the chicken for few times or they over fried the chicken. It tasted and smells a bit rancid. The cakes I had was the honeycomb coffee cake. Besides having a little too much buttercream, the cake was quite cool. Anyhow, the menu takes smaller eaters into consideration, where they divide all food into regular portion and lite or small eater portion. I did thought that it's a smart move to reduce food wastage. The Fat Boy Burger Bar serves one of the most succulent patty in the town, and has wide selections of specialities that serve different kind of taste buds. The place is pretty hipster, resembles the diners in overseas. I was amazed by the whole lists of burgers that offer and each of the selections is so tempting, and it would be so hard for me to pick a choice. Not forgetting that the place is non-Halal, as they serve pork patties. The descriptions on each item, never fail to make you hesitate, well, you can always pay more visit to the place to try on all their variations! Also, you get to build your very own kind of burger as well! The Classic Royale was classically simple and good, without any fancy condiments but just onion marmalade and cheese, it taste really good! This good-old not so adventurous kinda combination, fits eaters who love being classical.
Beef Patty, Streaky Bacon, Melted Cheddar, spread with Onion Marmalade on sesame bun.
The portion is rather huge for me, yet I would stuff myself to finish all of it because it's good!
Jerk seasoned bacon stuffed pork patty topped with bacon, sundried tomatoes, coleslaw, mayo on bun.
As for the Jamaican Me Hungry, the sundried tomatoes are the little things that made me go crazy over it. I really love the slight roasted flavour and acidity that they implies. It definitely complement and brings up the overall taste of the burger. Yum! Not to forget, I like how thick the steak fries are, but the amount of the fries could be a little bit more, haha! In general, I find the price of the burger is quite reasonable, for such a big portion of burger like that, and the ingredients used is definitely worth the price. Table Wait Time: 10 minute(s)

The place where everyone talks about it, worth a try nonetheless, regardless you like it or not. Being one of the pioneer of the Japanese Thick Toast, Haraju Cube attracts dessert lovers to its well decorated and topped dessert Thick Toast, where the people are willing to que up for it! Thank God, we went there on a decent Thursday morning, where there’s no crowd at all, and we get to enjoy or desserts without interruption. My friends and I had Fruitition, basically a scoop of ice cream, and topped with generous amount of berries on a thick buttered thick toast, truly amazing! Anyhow, I was kinda annoyed seeing people cutting of the sides of the bread and leaving the brown bread skin behind just because they are too hard to be consumed. I personally think that's a problem that needed to be solves to prevent wastage. We also had the Haraju-Milk, tasted somewhat like Yakult but more milky flavour and tasted creamier. The concept of doing this is kinda impressive, though many times I think to myself that we can even make our own at home 😂😂😂😂 In fact, I guess what makes the difference is that, the combination of the flavours with the toast are delicious and also the effort to plate the toasts are no doubt, very nicely done.
