Had a flat white with the blend of Colombia San Marcos,El Savador, & Indonesia Wahana and it was chocolate-y and had 🍏 acidity

and the single origin Ethiopia Duromina for the cold brew which had peach notes and pleasant with ice for the hot weather!

They switch the beans pretty often but most of the time is the local roaster Artisan.

yummy waffles & coffee!  Smile Jun 07, 2016

one of those underrated cafes in Penang that is worth a visit! Located near Tesco e-gate, it is rather an isolated mall on its own and it is the only bustling cafe in that compound.

Drinks are definitely priced reasonably and alot of family and young adults flock during the weekends.

Tried the Apple Crumble Waffle; a belgian waffle served with New Zealand Kapiti Vanilla Ice Cream, apple chunks.
Ok, so these waffles are applelicious. Tasted like the real deal!Really love the texture of the waffles: thick, cakey and crisp on the outside and the best part is that the ice cream took awhile to melt down.  The ice cream's vanilla bean flavours complemented well with it.

Coffee is roasted by the owner himself and they have a wide variety of drinks to cater to all types (they even have soda and chocolate for those looking for non-caffeinated drinks at night!) Had the flat white made with the Ethiopian Yigarcheffe Kochore and it was such a comforting cuppa. Tasted hints of butterscotch and caramel and the milk was smooth and creamy.

one of those classic locals must try whenever you're in Penang, this was definitely something that I knew I wasn't going to miss out on. only RM 2.70 per bowl, super dirt cheap and yummy, with lots of fillings inside, the fragrance of coconut milk and gula melaka does not overpower one another.

located at this small alley calle Stewart Lane, this place is worth visiting if you love Churros! very tiny cafe that opens till 12pm at night perfect for night owls looking for fix as well.

Tried the flat white and their churros and we went for the salted caramel dipping. and it was really really good, crispy and it isnt too sweet as this wasn't coated with sugar all over but lightly dusted with icing sugar only. Coffee was made using beans from local roaster the Roast Things with a blend of Brazil and Colombia that tasted chocolate-y and nutty!

Located in Lorong Baru in Georgetown. a lane full of street food at night and best for a quick bite.

We had the Loh Bak / fried snacks which are actually mixed mash into a plate definitely perfect for sharing. They gave us tofu, and fried meat to be dipped into two sauces : gooey brown sauce and the sweet chili sauce with peanuts.
We also had the Leng Chee Kang (Sweet Lotus Seed Soup) and red bean soup which was served in ice for our cooldown drink after a hot day.
The Chee cheong fun here also comes with the usual brown sweet sauce and chili with lots of sesame seeds and also not forgetting the fried Oyster Omelette, or also known as Oh Chien in Hokkien. With a right mix of starch and egg batter, every mouthful of this oyster omelette has a pleasant gooey texture.
