mille crepe. OK May 17, 2016

was craving for some mille crepe cake and decided to try this after such a long time. known to be the pioneers for introducing mille crepe into malaysia.
they used to be only found in Malacca and ventured out to other parts in Klang Valley.

Had 3 different flavours : chocolate banana,  original and green tea.
Among all,  i only enjoyed the chocolate banana and didn't really like the original one. The cream was quite tasteless and we found it cloying towards the end.

it's air conditioned in Cheras so it's more comfortable.
had the lean meat and beef ball noodles to go with their kuayteow and vermicelli soup.

love the fact that the soup isn't laden with lots of pepper and MSG that leaves you feeling thirsty and dehydrated.

they also have toast and half boiled eggs for those not looking forward to beef ball noodles.

wanted to have some soup noodles and decided to go for this. It was herbal pork soup noodle and topped it off with an egg. The soup was a clear based soup with not much MSG. thats what i liked about it!
apple juice was just normal. diluted and watered down.

Burundi coffee.  OK May 16, 2016

they have a wide variety of coffee, and tea choices on the menu.
Chose the Burundi on the flat white priced at RM 14.50.
Pretty steep for a flat white.
They were using the beans from local roaster Brew and Bread.
Tasting notes according to them were blackcurrant, caramel.

Tasted dark chocolate for this cuppa instead. Great for those who are looking for a quick fix and not Starbucks.

unagi croissant.  OK May 14, 2016

Soft Shell Crab Burger, Unagi Croissant, Classic Chocolate Cake and flat white for our Friday lunch treat yesterday!

Soft Shell Crab Burger had fried soft shell crab, sunny side up egg, pickled cucumber on the inside and the top bun was slathered with tartar sauce and sweet onion jam on the bottom bun. The tartar sauce on the top bun reminded me of filet o' fish from McD's.
and next come the Unagi Croissant which had unagi, the same picked cucumber from the soft shell crab burger, ni tamago (Japan marinated soft boiled egg commonly found in Ramen) sandwiched in between a croissant and a side of salad drizzled with honey lemon vinaigrette on the side.
after all the mains, we washed it all down with the capp on the VCR blend 3.0( Panama Kotowa, Guatemala Santa Isabel and Indonesia ) with the classic chocolate which wasn't too sweet. It felt like as if i was having chocolate for desserts on my coffee.
Soft Shell Crab Burger, Unagi Croissant, Classic Chocolate Cake and flat white for our Friday lunch treat today.
