finally this famous Chili Pan mee restaurant landed at our shores in Cheras.
Decided to give in to try out their bestseller-Chili pan mee and chose with the option of their normal noodles. wished that they could add more chili over it. other than that, its just mediocre.

toast and kopi.  OK Jun 03, 2016

waited pretty long for this old school kopitiam located at the side of a small alley. After waited for about 20mins for seats, we finally got a small table on the outside. Had those small packets of nasi lemak to munch on while waiting for our orders to come. Really love the nasi lemak as the sambal is fragrant and i felt that the rice grains here are much bigger compared to in KL. Ordered the wholemeal toast with butter and kaya, half boiled eggs and kopi. To be honest, it was just average. Nothing to shout about.

Thirdwave's Hanako Hotcakes filled with vanilla custard and made with premium matcha powder from Kyoto. It's paired with strawberry compote and matcha ice-cream.
We also had a matcha latte to wash it all down afterwards.

Wished that the ice cream would be a bit colder and the matcha flavours of the hotcake would be richer.

Marshmallow S'mores OK Jun 01, 2016

Roasted Marshmallow S'mores Frappuccino® Blended Beverage& Summer Berry Panna Cotta Frappuccino for our premovie treat! smile

The former contains roasted marshmallows with chocolate and graham crackers. Another great alternative for anyone looking for something chocolate-y. The latter tasted like a berry smoothie to me @.@
would prefer to ask for less sweet the next round.

green salad and waffles.  OK Jun 01, 2016

decide to drop by to have a quick lunch here and wanting to have greens.
had the warm fish belly salad (requested to ask for the salad dressing on the side) for it. They used a balsamic vinaigrette for the dressing.

Can be quite overpowering for those who don’t quite like sour dressing for the salad. And fish was a bit too little as it was mainly all fat bellies.

The waffles definitely scored better! Had the classic waffle with maple syrup and butter. It was simple and nice.
