Coconut Treats Smile Sep 19, 2015

Categories : Thai | Stall / Warung | Ice Cream / Froyo / Gelato

The trending Thailand Coconut Ice Cream just arrived Malaysia named Sangkaya. Located at Lower Ground of Berjaya Time Square, a nicely decorated store with nice interior of seating area for people to enjoy the hit sensation, coconut ice cream.

There are 2 different flavours of ice cream and I have opt for the signature coconut ice cream. The ice cream is very attractive and artisan looking as it served with a dried coconut shell. The ice cream have a strong nice cocnut fragrant. It soft and tasty and not too creamy which you can easily have more.

The coconut ice cream come with 3-4 coconut fleshs and you can choose 3 topping to go along. There are a lot of topping option available such as chocolate syrup, nuts, chocolate rice, desiccated coconut and much more.

Ala Carte Japanese Buffet  Smile Aug 21, 2015

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Buffet

Malaysian are now drown with tons of Japanese Buffet Restaurant but many times we are disspointed with the minimal variety available or some not-so-fresh sashimi that will cause terrible stomachache.

I came across Kinjuku via online. Being a Japanese food lover, Japanese Buffet will make me get all excited. As restaurant is located at Cheras Selatan, I'm all ready for the massive traffic jam. Once I reach the restaurant, I'm truly amazed by the interior design of the restaurant. It nicely design based on the typical Japanese restaurant in Osaka with private rooms for families looking for some privacy.

Kinjuku provide an intensive range of selection in the menu from fresh sashimi to grilled and fried Beef, Chicken and fish. What I like about this restaurants is that they do not limit you in ordering Sashimi like some of the japanese buffet restaurant. The food here are really fresh. The one and half hour traffic jam is truly worth it.

Fresh from Oven Light CheeseCake  Smile Aug 21, 2015

Malaysian are truly food lover because we do not mind queing up for good food especially when we know it fresh from oven. And retailers know very much that FRESH FROM OVEN will able them to stand out among their competitors.

Well FRESH FROM OVEN is a technique Mr. Chizu located next to the busy escalator of Berjaya Time Square at Level LG used to win the Malaysian attention. There baked their light cheesecake at their open concept kitchen allowing the to demostrate the freshen of their cheesecake to shopper.

There are 3 flavour available, Signature, Chocolate and Matcha Green Tea. The size of the light cheesecake is small which fit the profile of Malaysia that want to indulge themselves in sweet delight yet they are worry of gaining the extra kilo. As the size is rather small comparing to their competitors, making the price 50% cheaper. Therefore it is much afforadable comparing to it competitors.

On the first bite, you can taste a very soft and fluffy cake texture. It make me feel that this cake is so fresh however it could be because of the preception that it FRESH FROM OVEN. The taste of the cheese is very light. You can not taste the strong milky and cheese taste making you want to have the second bite. The size of the cake is small making it easy for you to comsume the entire cake yourselves alone. I personally think this is a smart trick from the owner to make us eat more.

New Dessert  Smile Sep 13, 2015

Komugi has launch a hybrid product into the market which is Kronut. An invention between Crossaint and Donut. It something come with several filling. This smart twist product is worth a try.

Im very excited to try Kronut. It look like a donut with filling but it being baked like a crossaint. On each bite you can taste the crispy texture but I dont really like it as it too flaky making it a little messy. The filling which is a peanut butter filling is nice but it s strong that it come the butter taste that supposingly have in a tradisional crossaint. However in my opinion this is a smart hybrib product.

Do give a try if you visit an komugi outlet.

Local Taste at the heart of KL Smile Aug 31, 2015
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Chinese | Food court | Noodles

After the GRAND PIX final on sunday I sudden have a craving of having some local delight. Hence I thought checking out the food court, Taste Enclave at Avenue K. To my suprise this food court is very clean have it do have a wide selection of local deights. I took a tour around and trying to decide what to eat. I decided Yam Rice with Pork Soup will be my selection for today.

The price is worth for the big portion of food given, I would said that is it easily said by 2 people. The Yam rice is tasty, nice frangrant and not too dry. The soup is a little too salty, but is good too. There are a lot of meat and pork ball given.

Worth the price paid and nice the quite and clean environment that you can harldy find it in any other food court. I will go back to try other food.
