Lok lok (Skewered food) OK Jan 11, 2016
Categories : Chinese | Food court | Noodles

The variety of lok lok (skewered food) at the food street in Chai Ling Park is more compared to other places. As displayed in the photo, the price of each skewer depends on its color. White is RM4, blue, RM3, green, RM2.50, yellow, RM2, pink, RM1.50 and black, RM1.

There are a variety of sauces for you to choose from, some are sour-based, some spicy based and some sweet-based. I personally like the garlic sweet sauce.

Steamboat at Yau Kee OK Jan 11, 2016
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant

Yau Kee is actually more famous for it's chicken curry bread but we decided to have a steamboat party there for graduation.

The amount of food was a bit excessive as there were 8 people at our table but there was still leftovers. Hence, unless there are big eaters, you may want to get more people to join the steamboat.

Some tofu, meat balls, cuttlefish and corn.

They serve pork meat, deer meat, chicken meat and fish fillet, frog meat, meat balls and the egg tofu..

Located near the entrance of WestCity, Kampar, the cafe is a new chill out spot for students, particualrly.

Apart from its relaxed ambience, dart games are available at the corner.

There are quite a variety of desserts to choose from, so bring a friend or two so you could order few flavours to try altogether.

The food is tasty albeit a bit pricey for the portion given. I ordered chicken chop and would recommend the black pepper flavor as the sauce is really good.

The parfait is basically yogurt with fruits (strawberry and black grapes). I'd say it's more like an appetizer rather than dessert because it's a bit sour.

Recommended Dish(es):  Chicken Chop

Lee Wah Kee Chicken Rice Smile Aug 29, 2015
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles

One thing I like about this shop is the generosity. The amount of chicken meat given is just great! It’s really, really worth it for the price of RM5 (for breast meat).

The chicken meat is chopped in huge long chunks and the meat is really, really succulent.
The shop provides the usual blended chili paste and an additional blended ginger paste – which goes along pretty well with the chicken meat.

Ice-Blended Coconut Milk Shake Smile Aug 27, 2015

Categories : Malaysian variety | Stall / Warung | Desserts

Have been craving for ice-blended coconut milk shake and couldn’t have waited longer for the night market in Pandan Cahaya!

Here, the coconut milk shake is sold in 3 different cup sizes – small, medium & large.

Here’s the guy making the coconut milk shake.
Basically he blends fresh coconut and milk and top it with vanilla ice-cream.
The aroma of the drink is just so coconut-ish.
