Black Kettle OK Oct 31, 2015

Categories : Western variety | Café | Desserts | Bakery / Cake / Kuih

Located off Beach Street, and same row with CIMB beach streets; you may find Black Kettle cornered cafe in between the Bomba and Little India's T Junction traffic lights.

Ordered Ricotta Cheese Pancake RM 24, and Matcha Latte RM11.

The Pancake served with well presented topping with of little bits of avocado, orange, banana, baked nuts etc . It was soft and slightly creamy. No doubts the presentation was perfectly done, yet still, personally opined that assuredly there are still better options for similar price.

Ah Joo Loh Mee Smile Oct 29, 2015

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles

Same row and also next to famous 'Teow Chew Meng'( Mee Sua Goh), and Coya Vegetarian shop. This Ah Joo Loh mee is located off lorong selamat, georgetown.

The homemade Loh Mee, knowingly braised noodles( yellow noodles) served with braised egg, minced pork. Alternatively, you may choose Beehon' instead of yellow noodles, and request additional minced pork as well.

i ordered one standard loh mee Rm 3.50-Rm4. Very reasonable price with quality food.

Upon serving, there is plenty available of minced garlic and chilis( in small bottle ) for additional flavour.
I personally fancy of their minced garlic pretty much, thus i will have no hesitate to drizzle plenty of their minced garlic on top of it. The thick flavoursome gravy has really get me hooked much. Whenever i craved for Loh Mee, this place is definitely my top choice that never failed to disappointed every time.
Beside loh mee, they also provide 'dim sum' for diners, that niche on officer goers particularly.
The still open from 730am to 3pm daily and closed on Saturday.

锦和 Summer Cafe OK Oct 29, 2015

From Jalan Burmah, take a left turn into Lorong Kinta. The cafe was next to a few shops of Ukulele centre @ lorong kinta, which is same row on your left.  It was a landed cafe with live band occasionally.

The decor was unique and the environment is cozy. It was hidden inside the suburb of Kinta Lane. A place for relax and avoid traffic congestion during off working hours.

They offered main dishes from western delights to chinese cuisine. Suitable for family and gruop of friends too.

I ordered a fried sweet palm potato and hot iced lemon tea as the weather is freezing after raining.  The potato is 'clean' and not oily. I will visit here for main dishes then .

Kenny's Dinner OK Oct 29, 2015

Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta | Steaks / Chops | Halal

Roasted chicken with Aromatic Rice awas served in complimentary with  Country Style Chicken Soup Rm 16.90 . The soup If served in hotter temperature will taste better with the the rich texture of soup mixed well with the minced chicken slices. The aromatic rice tasted good, the setback was only the portion of rice was real small.

The Kenny 1/4 roasted chicken set come with mashed potato, macaroni, baked vegetables was dissapointing.  The chicken was not hot and warm enought, and we found the chicken not well cooked, yet it took more than 20 minutes for the food to be served.

Genting cafe Smile Oct 29, 2015

The Coffeeshop was located at Island Glades. The traffic was congested almost anytime you went by , regardless morning or noon. Lucky enough to parked at quite a distance place and walked to the place.

Was introduced to try their Chee Cheong Fun. Order 3 plate with each 2 Chee Cheong Fun place.(Rm2-3 for 2 pieces) . All  without sweet sauce.
Their specialty is that the sauce is mixed with peanut butter. It was awesome and worth the time taken for finding car park. The sauce was nicely mixed and their services is friendly.

But , the morning session was really crowded and long queue required.
