Haha, I was out with friends the other day to discuss some really serious matter, haha ! I make is sounds like as if there is a big plan or thing coming .. haha ! We plan to go other place but eventually end up at Garage Coffee House, which is not a bad thing thou', I kinda like it here .. haha !

I really like the environment here, its comfortable and nice, suitable for a group discussion as well, haha ... the air conditioning does gets a little bit too cold but its still good, haha ! Went to call the waiter to turn down the air condition a few times. Their service is good in terms of attending to customers need.

For food, you will need to order it at the counter. Garage Coffee House have a wide range of food to choose from, there are Macaroni, Chicken Burger, Salmon, Pancake and many more. Go Go ! And be spoilt for choice, haha !

Garage Chicken Chop RM 18.90

Carbonara With Bacon RM 16.90

The pasta tasted a little bit bland, it does not really features the taste of the carbonara, the only strong taste on the whole plate is from the bacon and egg. From the look, it does look tasty right ? Especially the half cook egg-yolk on top, its really OMG ! If you put that egg-yolk in front of two best friend, its going to end up with world war, fighting for that egg ! haha .. !

Spicy Seafood Aglio Olio RM 18.90

Spicy Seafood Aglio Olio taste nice. I love the spicy taste of it but do that note that it will be more and more spicy as you continue to eat on, haha ! The first few bites was ok, it gets more and more spicy as you eat more, hahaha !

Now for the drinks. The moment i look at the menu they placed on the wall, i instantly spotted Honey Milk with a big thumb by the side, so i went straight for it, haha !

Coffee Smith : Fresh Brew OnlyFirstly, looking for this cafe at the Karpal Singh Drive is not hard. It can be easily spotted as it has a big .. really big sign board outside the cafe.Walking into this cafe is like walking into another country, well, that's what piglets felt like when doing so .. as if like we are walking into England .. maybe right ? haha !Then we were walking and walking .. until we found a suitable place to sit and realize that the table is actually made out of a sewing machine .. ahh !Piglets were so ... like ... you know, piglets ... so we have to snap the photo of the table .. haha ! The waitress there were prompt in bringing us the menu which look like pieces of newspaper .. hmm ..It does feels like an evening at a garden somewhere in England sipping aromatic coffee enjoying the evening wind blow while reading a newspaper. Ain't it ?But this newspaper-like-menu is not just any ordinary menu .. its written in MANDARIN !! Piglets fail big time ..... !! haha .. there are some english description written on the menu, but most of it are in mandarin .... so basically piglets just order the food by pointing randomly ...Though it is just a random pick of food from the menu, surprisingly all the food turns out great. Now since you already where this place and the location is, let us show you how the place looks like.Macallum Connoisseurs is a huge place, it is even possible to have a mini concert in here. We feel this is the largest cafe available here in Penang Island. There is a lot of seating place and it is comfortable to dine here because though the place is huge but it is not hot even if it is a hot sunny day out side. So the place is awesome now lets see what is on the menu.By looking at the menu, there is a lot of things they are serving at Macallum Connoisseurs but because we only have a small stomach to fill up, so we only order a few food to try.Classic Grilled Chicken RM 20.00

This is tasty ! Creamy De Pesto With Smoked Salmon ! It is recommended, the pasta taste good, the salmon is nice too ..Banana Kiwi Smoothies RM 13.00

Drinks is yummy too, the banana taste in the smoothie is not too strong making it mix well with the kiwi, we can actually taste both the banana and kiwi together without one covering the taste of another, which in short, they both mix well .. hehe !There is also cake to eat !And plain water, haha .. !

We would not have ever think that there are place to eat at Bay Avenue, Penang until we were told by friends that there are a few restaurants and cafes there. So we went and ended up at 绊 Kizuna Japanese Restaurant.So if you are looking for food at this area, especially japanese food, Kizuna Japanese Restaurant is definitely for you ! haha ..Kizuna Japanese Restaurant is a nice place to dine in, the environment is some-what romantic, haha ! With dim lights and simple interior design it is comfortable for us to sit for hours without even realizing it.Ok, first, the drinks. There are a few types of drink available here in Kizuna but if you prefer to take bottle water like us, then here are some of those you can choose from.Oishi Ice Lemon Tea RM 4.00

The Chawan Mushi is tasty and with the Ikura on top, it gives a different taste it, we are not saying that the Ikura makes it not tasty but what we mean is the taste is special when mix Ikura and Chawan Mushi together. haha !Kizuna Kyushu Ramen RM 19.90

This is tasty, the meat is soft and tasty ! Everything in it mix well.Pork Mayo Ramen RM 19.90

We particularly love this, the pork is tasty, we can even taste the pork in the soup which is very different from the Kizuna Kyushun Ramen, If we were to rate the two ramen it would be 7/10 for Kizuna Kyushu Ramen and 9/10 for Pork Mayo Ramen.

Khoon Pastry House looks like a normal pastry house which is located at Argyll Road in Georgetown, Penang. Probably not many know that Khoon Pastry House actually serve main course as well other than just pastry.





I really enjoy the interior of Khoon Pastry House, it is simple and comfortable. Enjoy dining here .. ! Not many seating place here so sometimes when it is full, you might need to wait for seating place.









Other than selling yummy pastry, they also have Hainanese Chicken Rice which is my favorite.


Hainanese Chicken Rice RM 12.90

It is just a simple plate of Hainanese Chicken Rice but the chicken is soft and the sauce on it is tasty. Simple and delicious, i like it !


Creamy Mushroom Chicken Chop RM 17.90

This is not your everyday ordinary Creamy Mushroom Chicken Chop, there is a lot of gravy being put onto this plate of Creamy Mushroom Chicken Chop making it not dry like any other Chicken Chop i tried else where. The outer layer of the Chicken Chop is crunchy while the inner part is soft making it tasty.


Spring Rolls (1 Rolls) RM 7.50

I did not expect a single roll of Spring Roll could be so big in size, haha !


Khoon's Special RM 10.90

Khoon's Special is actually desert made out of fruits and ice cream.
