Calling all Stitch fans !! If you think stitch is naughtily cute .. then you better get yourself prepare for this post .. its cuteness overload !! hahaha ... ! It has been awhile since a theme cafe using cartoon character is open or is it we piglets didn't visit any ? hmm .. anyway .. we were definitely excited when we first found out that a stitch cafe is open in Butterworth, Penang. Well if you google Stitch Cafe you wont find anything about this cafe, well try .. Stitchats Cafe that should work .. hehe ! (anyway, if you found this then you should have know the correct name for this cafe) (^.^)v

Stitchats Cafe

39, Lorong Teras Jaya 9

Kawasan Perniagaan Teras Jaya

13400 Butterworth

Pulau Pinang

Being newly open, Stitchats Cafe is pack with people even when it is during week days.

This is not a really big cafe, there is limited seating place with some at the inner part of the cafe with air conditioning.

And some at outer part of the cafe but not outdoor, you will still sit under the roof.

For the decoration, it is definitely Stitch all around you. From the wall painting.

To the photos hanging on the wall

And the wall decoration

Until the decoration of the cafe

They are all stitch. If there is a term for too-much-stitch we guess it would have been call "StitchVerload" .. haha ! but such word does not exist .. what a waste ! haha ..

We play this game when we were there. Basically we open up the stitch mouth and press any of the tooth one by one by taking turn until that naughty little stitch bite ! The one who got bitten consider lost .. ! haha ..

Not to forget this big stitch that accompanied us while we eat.

Isn't it cute and adorable ? A good company for Piglets .. !

Mushroom Soup RM5.90

PepperMint White Coffee RM5.90

Thousand Island Fish & Chip RM13.90

Buttermilk Mushroom Chicken Chop RM15.90

The food here in Stitchats Cafe is not very tasty, the Thousand Island Fish & Chip tasted average with thin layer of fish and we don't really like the Buttermilk Mushroom Chicken Chop. While for the Mushroom Soup it tasted ok, we are not sure what is put in the soup, it might be pepper but it does taste a little spicy. Not much, just a little. The drink, is rated as 'accepted' for piglets ! hehe ..

*Oh no, this is not stitch .. haha ! its a baby chair ..

Now this is another stumble upon post, haha ! It was just like any ordinary night where piglets were out looking for food to eat. We were thinking, just go to some hawker stall and grab some simple food to eat, so we left our camera back home again. The good thing about hand phone now-a-days is, the build in camera is so useful at time like this .. haha ! We heard about Draw N Go Cafe from friends before, we saw people check in at Draw N Go Cafe but it never cross our mind to actually take the effort to go look for it until we accidentally 'stumble upon' it few days ago ... hahaha !

At first, we thought to ourself .. 'oh, new cafe !', but when we enter the cafe .. we realize it is the Draw N Go Cafe, later we were told by the owner that Draw N Go Cafe has been operating since 3 years ago .. ! so long leow ahh ? aiyo ... ! haha .. but regardless of that .. their food still taste good !

This menu is really uniquely done, the owner must have put in a lot of effort to make this menu, good job !!

Draw N Go Cafe will come up with different set menu which include + Soup + Fruits Juice for lunch and dinner. On the day we went there, we ordered the Spicy Pork Rib which cost us RM 36.90. It is worth it !

Spicy Pork Rib

The pork is tasty, we love the taste but it is a little bit spicy. The portion is big which is enough for two is you are a small eater.

Fruits Juice That Is In The Set Meal

This fruit juice taste normal and it tasted like it is not being juice from the juicer using those real fruits. It tasted more like being pour out from a bottle, well that is just what we piglets think .. maybe readers can try it out and let us know ? hehe ..

Mushroom Soup From The Set Meal

This soup taste nice but it is in a small portion.

Other than the set meal, you can order other ala carte food from the menu too, this round we order the Signature Mushroom Nachos RM18.90 !

One word, yummy !! it is crunchy and taste good, though a small portion of it is burned but it still taste good.

The moment we enter this little Ah Lai Coffee Shop, we notice this sign of no photography allowed, are they for real ? haha .. anyway, we did snap some photo of the food but not the surrounding of the coffee shop. Some call this as the Ah Lai Cafe Under The Big Tree because it really is placed directly under a big shady tree. It is not an awesome or fancy coffee shop but it is really famous for its Maggie Curry With Cheese. Yah, you heard it right .. Cheese !!

Maggie Curry With Cheese

We think that this Maggie Curry actually taste normal, just like any ordinary instant noodles that anyone can cook, but the only thing special about it is there is cheese. The cheese is so mild that it does not change the taste of the Maggie Curry. So it does taste like a normal instant Maggie Curry.

Kopi Peng Special

Now this is something .. it taste good ! haha .. Kopi in english means Coffee, Peng means Ice .. so it means Ice Coffee, haha ! There is nothing special about the name, but the taste is .. we just can't figure out what is so special about this Kopi Peng, but it taste nice .. ! what makes it so tasty ? Is it the Coffee ?? the Sugar ?? the Water ?? Arrrr ... !

Toast With Egg And Sausage

Hmm, normal .. haha ! it taste just like how it looks to be .. haha !

Well for piglets, we feel that if readers are looking for a simple food for breakfast, this place will do the trick. With noodles, bread and coffee .. its a filling breakfast for us .. !

This small little bowl of noodles is invading Penang. One after another outlet is open like no one business, as for now, we piglets know if 3 outlets in Penang alone and we are sure there are more to some. So what is the fuzz about this small little bowl of noodles ?

Boat Noodle by Noodle Doodle is doing the concept of selling a bowl of noodle in just RM1.90 each, but it comes in a small portion. Customers can order as many bowl of noodles as their tummy and appetite allows them.

We saw this weekly record of 32 bowls of noodles when we were there.

This small bowl of noodle comes in 2 different type of flavor and in 2 different type of cooking. Which are :

Boat Noodle (Thai Style Pork Noodle)

- Soup

- Dry

Tomyum Noodle (Spicy And Sour Noodle)

- Soup

- Dry

There is still other type of side dishes if you wish to try on other food but for us piglets we were there for their small bowl noodle. We basically finish up the bowl of noodles in just one mouth full. haha ! That is why it takes us 12 bowls to feel full.

The taste of the food is nice, we piglets prefer the Boat Noodles over Tomyum Noodle. The drinks is tasty as well. So it is worth a try. Though it may sound cheap at the price of RM1.90 per bowl, but considering the size of the noodles it might actually turn out to be expensive as the size is really small.

Imagine if you eat 12 bowl * RM1.90 will equal to RM22.80 which does not include drinks yet .. haha !

Honey Lemon RM5.90

(Sweet And Sour Goodness)

Cha Yen RM5.90

(Secret Recipe Thai Tea)

Cocoa RM5.90

(Chocolate Delight)

Well we are not sure if stalls selling food inside a coffee shop is consider as hawker food or not, haha ! but we still categorize this as hawker food. Today, we would like to introduce a place for yam rice at Bukit Minyak, Penang area. This stall is located inside a coffee shop name as Restauran Bukit Minyak.

A plate of yam rice here cost RM6.00, which include the rice and a bowl of soup with pork meat in it. The soup taste good and it has enough sour taste to it. The rice is tasty as well, the strong yam flavor taste good.
