I have tried Coffee Box but it was sometime back at Cheras branch. I happen to be around this area therefore I decided to have my lunch here. The café even offer set lunch even though on weekend which inclusive of one drink- Ice Lemon Tea. What’s a good bargain! There were about 10 choices of main course and I opt for Buttermilk Chicken Rice as my final choice. After waited for 10mins, my foods were served. The portion is decent, I first tried was the Fried Chicken, deboned, crispy batter and good aroma of buttermilk. I never expect it was so tasty. Thumb up!Meanwhile, I have Sardine sandwich to be shared with my friend. Toast was very crispy with light fragrant of butter. Right amount of Sardine filling without any fishy smell which is a plus point.I am happy with the overall foods and service here. Moreover, the price is reasonable too.

I came across this café from Facebook, since it is nearby my house. I have decided to give a try. This café is located at ground floor of a condominium. No luxury renovation but a simple and warmth ambience. You will get to smell strong smell of bread upon entering the café.  
They offer limited choices of breads, quiche and tart as well. I have ordered myself a cup of Hot Latte (RM8.00) and sandwich. The Latte was good with strong coffee aroma. Light Bran Tuna (RM8.50), was served warm as the chef reheat the bread in the oven. I like the tuna filling as it was prepared without the mayonnaise. Overall is taste good. I have ordered half portion of Baguette with Butter & Jam (RM4.50), this is because I wanted to try the baguette and this is my favourite. Moreover, you can opt for full length Baguette if you can finish all. Baguette was toasted in the oven before serving result the crust was crispy outside and soft inside. I love the texture of the Baguette, a bit chewy it has very good aroma of bread. If you are looking for place to have coffee and sandwich, you may consider this. I will be back again for their Baguette.

I just want to kill time as I am waiting for my friend to join me for movie. Since it is 3pm, why not drop by at Oldtown for a cup of tea.
I had cup of coffee this morning, thus I opt for Teh Tarik (RM4.15) this time. My drink was served fast, perhaps is not much customer around this hour. I did not expect the Teh Tarik is good, sweetness is just right and the tea aroma is there.   Of course, I would like to have something to munch with. Garlic Toast (RM4.53) is the best option to pair with my drink. I can smell the strong smell of the garlic and butter. The toast is soft and crunchy at the edge. This is delicious.

I believe most of us have heard of Walnut Café. They are quite popular recently until I received an invitation from my friend. We came during weekday dinner and the restaurant was quite packed around this hour. We are going to be there for quite a while therefore we have ordered their signature Lemongrass White Tea. It was served in a small bucket, lightly sweeten with light lemongrass taste. We saw quite many diners ordered Wing Skeward (RM38.90) and we decided to give it a try. It came in 6 pieces of Chicken Wings, well-marinated and flavourful. Yes it was taste good. Croque Monsieur (RM19.90), this is one my favourite food. Not many café served this I am glad this can be found here. It came with 2 side lines- Fries and salad. It  was delicious!Coffee is a must to order here, Latte (RM11.00), strong coffee strength and slightly bitter. Overall, I am happy with the foods they serve. I definitely will be back for more.

I happen to be around this area and wanted to drop by for lunch. I have no idea what to eat therefore I just climbed up to Plaza Damas hope I can get something good to eat. Star Café was caught my attention with their giant size of signage – STAR CAFÉ. Browsing the menu at the menu standee, oh yes this is what I want to eat today.

I have Pumpkin Soup (RM10) for my starter, comes with one piece of crispy Garlic Toast. The soup was smooth, thick and creamy.I had Spaghetti Bolognese (RM24) for main course, it has very good smell of cheese upon serving therefore the spaghetti was thick and creamy. The taste was good which on my liking, they using chicken mince meat for the sauce.Overall the foods were satisfying, definitely will return for other menu.
