Yummy infused pan mee Smile Jun 15, 2015

Got to know about this Pan Mee stall from Astro tv show. This is not the only shop in Serdang that served infused pan mee and I have had infused pan mee in other stall but it didn't live up to expectation. However from the tv show the process of making this pan mee uses real vegetable and I decide to give it a try.

By far this infused pan mee does able to give you the taste of the vege instead of just the aesthetic outlook of a good colour.
Beside the fact that the noodle is a bit too thick and soup contain too little ingredients (vege, minced meat and black fungus), they did live up to their specialty of vege infused pan mee.
Surprisingly good rice set from a noodle stall.

A little too little Cry Jun 15, 2015

I was tempted by a video of a Thai vendor making such ice-cream which infused a lot of real strawberry fruit into a vanilla ice cream. So I thought this shop would provide the same considering they are charging at RM8.90 (minimum price) per cup of ice-cream.

I ordered the almond+longan with vanilla ice-cream, SADLY there are only TWO piece longan (from canned) and ONE teaspoon of crushed almond and a dozen of coloured jelly bubble on top. The whole cup of ice cream felt so artificial and compared to a RM9.90 Magnum ice-cream, at least we can choose 3 toppings that are real fruit and more nuts.

Wish it have more real fruits than the coloured jelly balls.

Pricey and not worth it Cry May 28, 2015

sad Went in to dine and order a RM12 Taiwan sausage plus rice with a few vege stalks. Their menu is poorly created to mimick Taiwanese cuisine. Their staff was having dinner the same time as I was eating. I wasn't complaining about the staff having meals while there is customer but their staff meal looks way better and more dish than mine!
Very disappointed though their menu have this promising idea about this franchise.

Surprisingly good brunch place! Smile Apr 19, 2015

I have never wore fancy dress to dine in Serdang except for this! Accidentally bumped into a blog entry about this restaurant and immediately attracted by its concept (brunch/western) and inner decoration.
Usually the inner decor will have a inverse effect with the food quality but this restaurant prove not. It has almost similar concept with Levain but cheaper!
I ordered the Spicy Lala pasta and it's really good. Will come back here again for brunch.
Sadly the pizza only available after brunch hours. (10am-1pm)

I never like fish head noodle until I met this! It has tomato and milk base as soup that make me change my mind. It was open somewhat 5 yrs ago and after they put the foreigner cook in charge, the taste is not as classic and nice as it used to. Nevertheless this is still a stall that I always go for breakfast.
Oh they do really give you real piece of fish and not the fillet-crap hence it don't come cheap but still way cheaper than Mdm Kwan's or Secret Recipe who serve local food at premium price.
Supplementary Information:
Choices of fish are fried fish (always give a good fragrant to the soup), steamed fish (for those can stand fishy taste and healthier version) and homemade fish cake (similar to fillet).
