亚庇Oceanus Waterfront Mall 迎来了首家中高价位的日本餐厅 -- 柚子Yuzu。对喜欢日本料理的KK人来说、无疑是一大喜讯呢！ 我曾光顾过柚子在吉隆坡谷中城The Gardens Mall的餐厅、以及他们有卖猪肉的姐妹店 -- 一力（Ichiriki）。是的，柚子是一家“哈拉”餐厅。至今在亚庇好像还没有看到一家把“豚”字写在餐单上的日本料理店呢！希望不会等太久。柚子的平均个人消费大约RM40 - RM60之间。当然、喝烧酒和吃神户牛肉的话肯定不止这个价钱了（笑）

沙巴 / 亚庇真的缺少了咖啡厅/cafe

如果你把“怡保”或“旧街”等连锁咖啡店搬出来的话，我会用很不屑的眼神看着你。我从不抗拒传统咖啡、那是我从小喝到大的古早味，不曾改变。但这些连锁店所提供的根本就不是那一回事。 至于为什么 -- 大家心照啦！但部落格这里是公共空间，想知道我的想法、约出来喝咖啡再说吧！

光顾咖啡厅的感觉真好、喝一杯好的拿铁是人生一大享受。 就凭这句话，咖啡厅的环境与咖啡、食物的品质都一样重要。 欧式/墨尔本式的cafe格调、配上一杯满意的意大利espresso咖啡（或拿铁）；又或者最近崛起的手冲式以及虹吸式咖啡、单品豆等等，这些软体/硬体设施已经成为了一家咖啡厅的基本配备。
懂得消费咖啡以及咖啡厅的人已经越来越多了！

亚庇真的缺少了咖啡厅，所以The B Side 刚开张食物就被一抢而空。被饥饿的亚庇人吃光了。很喜欢这个瓶子。其实，我工作的地方应该可以找到--通常用来装化学物品的暗色（amber）玻璃瓶这些甜品/pastries都是The B Side的伙伴们做的，绝不假手于他人我的Picollo Latte、因为杯子比较小的关系、味道会比普通的latte来的更浓一些以盐和香料腌制过的鸭腿肉、应该是在平底锅上煎熟、再加入煮熟后的spaghetti面条。咸鸭腿的味道真的好好哦~ 没有白酱（蛋黄酱或cream）或番茄酱的pasta、把味道的主导权全留给了腌鸭肉！有两种香肠、鸡蛋、火腿、马铃薯饼和裸麦面包马铃薯饼是自己做的呢！好吃！详情请留意他们面子书吧！

Lido Plaza 是在Jalan Nosoob那里的一个新兴商业区，距离桃园Towering商业中心不远。不熟悉这个地区的朋友们可以看看以下地图。

I wonder why Malaysian are so crazy about Korean - everything about Korean! Korean Drama (the lover finally discovered they are actually siblings...), Korean Song (did somebody just mentioned Hyuna?), Korean BBQ (at least once per month!), Samsung, travelling to Korea and now, the Korean Dessert!!!

The latest landmark of Kota Kinabalu - Oceanus Waterfront KK finally open for business last December. While most of the shops are still under renovation or yet to be occupied, this dessert brand from Daegu (대구/大邱), South Korea suddenly make a hype among the foodies/foodiots in KK! Nunpat Dessert Cafe offers 5 types of Bingsu (Korean: Shaved Ice), Red Bean Desserts (such as Red Bean Soup), coffee, tea and cakes.

Bingsu is made from frozen milk - shaved into smoothy-soft ice and topped with Red Bean, Chocolate or other ingredients, depending on which bingsu you ordered. This type of shaved ice is not new to me, in fact, there are other eatery brand offering the similar type of dessert. If Nunpat is going to keep the crowd coming, they must maintain the quality and the good spirit of South Korean.

Sharikat Biru-Biru, as crafted on the signboard above the entrance, is the new cafe tookover the old and famous Borneo 1945 Museum Cafe occupying the space below Borneo Backpacker. Biru-Biru, loosely translated as "Blue Blue", could be the color of sky and sea, as well as reflecting some kind of emotional states which the cafe's owner trying to portray (Foodiotkk: Did I think too much?)... Anyway, I love to hang around this part of KK despite heavy traffic and difficult to get parking during office hour; it is however, transforms to a quiet area during off hours and weekends -- Jalan Dewan is the home to many backpackers and boutique hotels, similarly to the adjacent Gaya Street! Without the busy traffic, Jalan Dewan is the most ideal place to start the morning with for travellers.Root Beer = A&W Softdrink and not the real "beer", ladies and gentlemen
And double thumbs up for the coconut ice cream, same goes to the waffles which will appear later I simply cannot resist anything related to lemongrass and this is definitely one of the best cooler here at Biru-Biru Cafe! I'd tried the Watermelon Mint Cooler too~The fish is tiny but overall taste was good... Really good with tuhau if you like it.

I mean, it's completely ok if you don't like tuhau XDGood as a light food. Should have consider to give the bread an upgrade to wholemeal and slightly thicker to retain the moisture of the bread This is a killer-dish! DON'T LEAVE THE CAFE WITHOUT HAVING THIS!Jalan Dewan is named after the DBKK Multipurpose Hall at the end of the road, it is adjacent to Jalan KK-bypass and Jalan Gaya. Look for Borneo Backpacker on any map or just ask people where "Australia Place" is and you should be able to find Biru-Biru Cafe and Bar. Serve no pork, but alcoholic drinks is available here throughout the day (you know bah, lihing!)
