A place for high school students Smile Nov 12, 2014
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Nasi Lemak

I love love love this place for its ice shake and fried chicken. The fried chicken is so perfectly fried that it is crispy yet not too oily at the same time. This is a place for many high school students around Taman Eng Ann area. So it goes self-service in which you make your order and pay later. Many choose to eat the fried chicken with nasi lemak for filling and matching as well. Not to forget you can choose whichever flavors of ice shake you like and mix them up according to your like. The ingredients are all fresh and authentic so you can literally chew the flesh of red beans, bubur cha cha, prune, etc. Even until now, I am still visiting here and going for a cup of ice shake takeaway!

Traditional Kopitiam to go! Smile Nov 12, 2014
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Chinese | Kopitiam | Noodles

Another spot for Klang-ites which means another big crowd! This kopitiam serves traditional kopi, steamed bun and toast that comes with filling of kaya and butter. Their kaya is home made which tastes really yummilicious and you can also buy the kaya from them. One thing about this kopitiam is that many old folks are still visiting and people are doing table sharing here in this kopitiam. I was very surprised as I don't usually see it around Klang kopitiams and there was once when I went there with my granny who walks with a cane, people actually offer to take their table though the kopitiam was really full and out of tables. The warmth of Klang is here! Back to the food, I was never a fan of red wine mee sua until I tried the one here. I didn't believe how good it was when my mom told me that until I tried it myself. The ingredients are rich enough to make everything taste so well-matched. The second time when I went for it, the owner was changed so I am not sure whether it is still the same bowl of red wine mee sua. On the other hand, the lala fried mee hun and fried kuey teow are recommended as well! Not too oily and not too wet! Note that this kopitiam is close on Sunday.

Authentic as it is.  Smile Nov 12, 2014

I have heard a lot about this restaurant before visiting so when I finally made a spontaneous visit with my family, we turned out to love it so much! As we were not putting any expectation, everything was great! The ambience is good and the design is very Thai-ish. Most importantly, the food tastes very authentic! The drive into this hidden restaurant is definitely worth a try for those who haven't!

This is so good. I have no words for it but trust me, you will know what I mean as soon as you try their food. The business is regularly good but it normally doesn't take too long to serve.
They started off with 潮州炒粥 but they have got some other signature dishes like fried Hokkien mee, freshly steamed mantis prawn (big and juicy), fried meat roll, etc. Even the normal stir-fry vege tastes soo good with the right fire! This is a place where I would bring my foreign friends over as the food is better than the tourist spots with reasonable price. Thus far, my German, Russian and Singaporean friends have given this restaurant a big LIKE!

Best place for fresh lala Smile Nov 11, 2014
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood | Noodles

This is a must-go place if you happen to visit Klang. While many restaurants fail to keep the lala fresh and juicy, this restaurant gives you the best lala ever. Their mantis prawns are another dish to die for. Though I am not a fan of Hokkien mee, this restaurant is famous for their signature Hokkien mee too. However, you always have to wait for at least an hour in order to get seated even during weekdays. You will see many working class people having late dinner in Boston and people queuing up even before the restaurant is open on weekends.
Wanna know Klang people better? Start from the food then! smile
