What a lazy Sunday... I'm sitting in Tipsy having my coffee and thinking how to start this log.

One month ago, I spotted this Jamaica Blue Fine Coffee are doing renovation, I'm quite excited cause Mid Valley will have one more coffee shop. (I'm addicted to coffee, the feeling was like Hoorayyyy there is a new drug coffee shop opening soon)

Patiently waiting, it finally opened. (Actually their renovation progress consider fast, about one month only). Last Friday, I told my boyfie there is a new drug Coffee shop open, provide all the breakfast service, we try this before our movie ok ? He said OK. (Yeah, got free meal, after try can update my food log)

Alright, here are the thing you need to take note, 1st make sure you found a table then only proceed to order, because they have limited table, is not suitable for long sitting, unless you have a "thick face skin" or that moment are empty.

We ordered before found a table, it was full house. Luckily their services are good enough, otherwise I will request for refund because before I place my order I have asked them are the table available, they checked and said Yes. We wait for ten minutes, but still do not have table for us, then one of the staff go to the last table, then that 3 ppls let out the table, actually that table was occupied by their management staff.

After ordered, they will give you a number stand. Then you just need to sit down and wait for your food and drink. Check their menu here.

We order 2 set of Big Breakfast, it's included drink. One set with scramble egg, another one set poached egg. And drink we choice Caffe Latte and Cappuccino. Satisfied with the coffee. But Abit disappointed with the poached egg, cause it was overcooked (look so different with Eat Drink KL one ) . And the portion not standard. I got 2 slice of Turkey Ham and Boyfie only got 1 slice Turkey Ham. (This have to be improved)

Is yummilicious time again. We gave a try on this interesting steamboat on two weeks ago. It's suggested by Wong and we have no idea of our dinner on that day, so we joined them for dinner.

Low Maji are from Cantonese and it's mean Mom. When we arrived is the most common dinner time - 8PM, the restaurant is full, we have to Q up and wait for an empty table.

After half an hour wait, finally we got the table. Luckily, there is a family not managed to wait so we got the table faster.The waitress passes the menu to us. The menu is simple and clear. You either choose a set or ala carte.Got this clear version on my second visit.

The price for ala carte add on for steamboat is

from MYR1.50 onwards. I felt the price are reasonable price.

1st visit

1 set winter melon steamboat

1 set value meal

Ala carte add on: Pork slice, dumpling, fish ball, foo chok, asparagus, oyster mushroom, water cress vege and spinach.

Chinese Tea for 7 pax

2nd visit

1 set value meal

1 x 100 Plus

Each set is for 2 pax serving. Total of us are 7 people, so we have to add on ala carte food.

Their special one are this winter melon steamboat. How special? Look at the photo, then you will understand.Deng Deng Deng~ They put in the whole winter melon into the pot. What the heck?!

The soup tasted a bit Chinese herb and sweet from the winter melon. When it's served we have no idea to put which ingredient in 1st, then the waiter came to rescue us. He taught us that must put in the chicken meat 1st. (⊙.⊙)Each value meal is for 2 pax serving. And you can choose 2 from 3 different soup base (Herbal, Tom Yum and Ma La). They called it "Ying Yong Pot". 1st visit we ordered herbal soup and Ma La soup. If you ordered Ma La soup base, the waiter will ask you which level of spicy you would like to try. We tried on medium level, but i felt it's ultra spicy for me. That spicy will leave in your throat. O﹏o

After tried on the winter melon soup, Ma La soup, I still prefer herbal soup.

2nd visit, we chose herbal soup and tom yum soup, after tasted tom yum, I'm falling in love with their tom yum. Look at the right picture, they put a lot of tomatoes in the soup, it's ultimate sour. Slurp, slurp. Both sets served different ingredients. The left one is for Winter melon steamboat, right one is for normal steamboat.Sauce station. I guess whatever sauce you need is here. You can mix and match by yourself.I have no idea how to mix the sauce, so i took the simple one. The top one is in house special sauce (their staff has prepared and put there) you just take one and add some soya sauce.

In the special sauce have spring onion, cilantro, fried onion, garlic, sesame, sesame oil and soya sauce that I added in. The bottom one is in house chili sauce, it just tastes like chicken rice chili, nothing special.
