(Diwali Special 2015)Happy Diwali !!

This year Diwali (deepavali) is on 11th Nov, 2015. with this post, i wish all my readers a happy and joyous diwali festival . when comes to Diwali most of the people will think about the best mutton curry to have , the awesome Tikka Masala chicken to find . I am consolidating recommended item of desserts , beverages , currys for easy simple menu dining for Diwali celebration , so you get to try out their temporary Diwali dishes . During this celebaration , OKONOMI took this opportunity to serve all their customer with Diwali set meal during this Diwali celebaration .

 
Masala Chai - ice cream is created from a spicy Chai blend of teas balanced with white and black pepper, cardamon, clove and ginger, and other spices . This Masala Chai ice cream was in the menu for the Diwali festival theme too . the first time I tried a Masala Chai ice cream that makes a really outstanding flavour that can't be told and taste of spicy in the mouth with a smooth scoop of the ice cream that melt sofly .

 
Mango lassi - Companion with Mango lassi is a must on the menu , Mangoes are a favorite of many people . Till date, I have not found anyone who does not like mangoes . What better way than to combine the sweetness of mangoes with the coolness of yogurt .

 
Chicken Tikka Masala - If there's one dish guaranteed to be on every Indian restaurant menu, it's chicken tikka masala , which is composed of grilled chunks of chicken enveloped in a creamy spiced tomato sauce .

 

 
To serve, scatter the naans with chopped coriander and serve with the chicken tikka , it's like an Indian version of pizza! .

Raining slightly Sunday afternoon and gonna be evening soon , The girls suddenly crawling for Coffee and a cozy place to hangout , In my mind pop Cafe Lafayette since I wanna try it out long time ago and heard from my friend that their have the best signature brew coffee and Seeties Going on Buy 1 free 1 deal at Damansara Uptown .

The most difficult thing to deal in Uptown is parking , Monday to sunday 365 days uptown is full with vehicle . atleast turn one big round if lucky to get parking , if not get to turn more than that .

Cafe Lafayette is located on the first floor and few doors down from Frisson Coffee Bar beside is Fat Spoon . Cafe Lafayette was Run by Gang of friendly youngsters with blissfully shielded from hippie youngsters style cafe , their started the business early this year and running well till today .

 

 
Cafe Lafayette Serving authentic Italian and western cuisine, It is a relatively comfy and cozy place to dine and unwind compared to the busy area . For those that you did, this is definitely not a place to missed out . Most sauce are in house made , the sauce is only freshly made upon order .

An Enchanting World Gin Day at WIP
Last weekend, in celebration of World Gin Day, a small corner of WIP was transformed into a nocturnal garden for one enchanting evening curtesy of The Botanist Gin.

A recent addition to WIP’s line up of spirits, The Botanist experience was curated by Chee Kin Yong, Key Account Manager at Rémy Cointreau who explained that the number 22 on the 1.5 litre bottle referred to the local botanicals hand foraged on the Isle of Islay which augment the nine classic gin botanicals to givethe only Islay Dry Gin it’s exclusive character.


Throughout the night, guests were given the opportunity to try their hand atconcocting their own cocktails or having one made for them at the personalized artisan cocktail bar. The drinks menu for the night included imaginative cocktailslike the Sweet Spot and Better Bitter.

As a special treat for members of the media. a selection of botanicals and aromatics were made available to infuse commemorative bottles of Botanist Gin. The Botanist Gin will Continue to feature prominently in WIP promotions, Packages and cocktails. So, anyone who missed out on World Gin Day can get their own exclusive experience of The Botanist at WIP.
