porky heaven... Smile Aug 08, 2014

El Cerdo is one of the best places to enjoy pork. They serve up some awesome dishes especially the pork knuckle or suckling pork. Other items on the menu are good too but the star is always their pork dishes. Service is very good & attentive. The restaurant also has a great atmosphere. Good for group outings or even a romantic date. They have something for everyone. Value wise it can get really pricey so its not something one can enjoy weekly. More of a special occasion type of restaurant. A must visit for all pork lovers!

Pelita is always a great place for some yummy food. Consistently good in all their locations. This branch in KLCC is one of the bigger cleaner ones which is always crowded due to its location. Problem is the service can be poor and it is way overpriced. Better options out there value wise but they got the location spot on so doubt they'll ever lose business.
In terms of food the best would be their nasi kandar which is a form of mix rice. Line up with the rest and choose from the plethora of variety from seafood to meats and veggies. You can't go wrong with any of them. Make sure you get the server to mix all the curries together and pile it on! Please be warned you won't be able to do anything after a plate of nasi kandar. You'll just want to bum the day away or head home and sleep.

Indian rojak sold out of a mobile van. Best that I have found in PJ so far. I frequent the one at SS2 same row as Starbucks & Chatime. Friendly chap with quick service. Reasonably priced too. Clean to top it off. Fresh ingredients with a killer sauce. Great whenever you have a fix for rojak. Don't forget to add the sotong. Gives a good kick!

Best place if you have a craving for char siew. Serving up the best I've had in Malaysia. Pricey though but you get what you pay for. They also serve up yummy Hakka noodles. Service is pretty quick but the place does get crowded during lunch time. I usually just take away since I live a block down from the place. Must visit!

This has got to be the best place to get yong tau foo in PJ. Made fresh daily with good quality ingredients. Almost everything on the menu is tasty. I would recommend the chee cheong fun either in classic black sauce or with curry. Will not dissappoint you. Also remember to order their fresh warm soya bean milk. Has to be the best around and great for rainy days or when you are feeling under the weather.
