Pelita is always a great place for some yummy food. Consistently good in all their locations. This branch in KLCC is one of the bigger cleaner ones which is always crowded due to its location. Problem is the service can be poor and it is way overpriced. Better options out there value wise but they got the location spot on so doubt they'll ever lose business.
In terms of food the best would be their nasi kandar which is a form of mix rice. Line up with the rest and choose from the plethora of variety from seafood to meats and veggies. You can't go wrong with any of them. Make sure you get the server to mix all the curries together and pile it on! Please be warned you won't be able to do anything after a plate of nasi kandar. You'll just want to bum the day away or head home and sleep.

yummy indian rojak... OK Aug 08, 2014

Indian rojak sold out of a mobile van. Best that I have found in PJ so far. I frequent the one at SS2 same row as Starbucks & Chatime. Friendly chap with quick service. Reasonably priced too. Clean to top it off. Fresh ingredients with a killer sauce. Great whenever you have a fix for rojak. Don't forget to add the sotong. Gives a good kick!

good food but bad service... OK Aug 08, 2014

This place is very near my home. Its extremely popular with the lunch crowd especially for their banana leaf and freshly fried stuff. Have to admit the food is good and I recommend their fried chicken, chicken or mutton masala, banana leaf, roti canai, poori and even the fried noodles. Price wise its on the upper end of indian cuisine but for the quality I guess its justified.
However the service is crap. You'll be annoyed trying to get the attention of the waiters and then for the food to actually show up. Sadly we also notice they service certain people better than others. Am sure you can get my drift by this remark. Due to this we rarely go here unless need to due to convenience. Service is 50% of a restaurant experience and this place fails misearably!

Suzy's Corner is famous for good economical western fare. They make yummy steaks, lamb chops and grilled chicken at a cheap price. Only downside its a stall located by the road side so for those that are particular please avoid. If not do head down and enjoy good & cheap western fare. They also serve up local favourites like satay, naan, murtabak and fried rice / noodles. The place is clean and the food quality is consistant.

great asian fusion... OK Aug 07, 2014

Wondermama is an interesting take on kopitiams serving up great Asian fusion. It has a charming decor with a cosy al fresco dining area which is covered & surrounded by shady plants. Service is attentive & friendly. Prices are pretty reasonable for Bangsar with decent sized portions.
Where it shines would be the food choices. Common dishes with an interesting twist. From the deep fried calamari with cili padi & ikan bilis to nacho chips with spicy minced beef. Both so very addictive. Good mains would be their Nasi Lemak 4.0, WM Spicy Spaghetti, D&L Nyonya Laksa, Seafood Maggi Mee Goreng & Black Spider Fried Rice. If you want something Western they also have pizzas, salads & burgers with an Asian twist. For dessert do try the Durian Crepe, WM Chendol or the Banana & Nutella Crepe. They do have a good selection of breakfast options which I have yet to try. Would definitely return to check them out.
Overall a great place for a date or group outing. The menu is extensive & exciting which will surely get one returning.
