mwahahaha~ really took me quite a while to wake up from that super duper comfortable bed of mine. =)
but the motivation was a taste of KFC breakfast!! finally!!!
I've been wanting to taste their breakfast meals so bad~
the only other fastfood restaurant that I know of, and everyone knows of is McD's breakfast menu!
and of all the breakfast menu items, I JUST LOVE PANCAKES!!! Yumm Yumm~
hehe^^

off we go to try KFC's pancakes!

something special about their pancake is that they have blueberries in it =) yum yum~
by the way, they give butter instead of whipped margarine (from McD)
the pancakes are not too bad, quite fluffy but a bit soggy..
and the hash browns are as HARD as ROCKShuffy a bit too tough for my unsharpen teeth tongue
overall was fine, those that like pancakes can still stick to the usual instead of KFC =)

It's HOT, It's CRUNCHY!!!
It's KFC...hahaXD shocked
that's what caught my eye when I saw the advertisment on TV!! tongue
so I decided that KFC was the place that I was gonna go for dinner...since I had no other appointments and I was craving for some meat!!
Went down to sri petaling and ordered this Dinner Plate!! I was so hungry I swear I could have eaten a zebra!

here's the dinner plate flaming crunch. I think there's a new one...
sooo...personally, I felt that the chicken was rather flat due to the spices they had on the Flaming Crunch...There was cornflakes!! >.< i guess that was what they meant by crunchy...sad rather disappointed with new flavour and I regretted that I ordered 3 pieces cuz by the time i was eating the 3rd piece...I felt so disgusted by eating just flat chicken...sad
sad sad sad...

I stil like KFC though...once in a while is a good food! lol

looks pretty normal and edible from this point =)

a bite from it and you know that someone must have bought it off the supermarket and sell it..>.< well, obviously isnt it?
The fish cake was a bit salty and you could taste that there was quite an amount of flour in it as well...=)

Here again, from the previous post about churros, they also offered me they milkshake....
Honestly speaking, if you wanna drink the milkshake there, it's better that you try out McD's milkshake....
The milkshake looked great!!! however, LOOKS can be deceiving!!!
It was too light and not creamy enough for a milkshake...Besides, it doesn't have ice cream in it.
The taste was a bit flat and you could clearly taste that the milkshake had only consist of milk and some chocolate syrup....
Oh well, nothing to expect much but it sure was quite a deal when I bought it along with the deal. It also came with a single scoop of New Zealand Natural Ice-cream...
Not too bad!!

Not too bad!!

wuuuala~ the chocolate milkshake...

an uninteresting encounter Cry Jan 07, 2012

Categories : Malaysian variety | Café | Juices / Bubble Tea / Tea / Yogurt

I noticed this place when I first came to Viva Home, when they were still advertising about this new mall in Jalan Loke Yew. I caught eye of this shop that reminds me one of my favourites, toast bread. Then, I came across a coupon that was selling for a pretty cheap deal to eat at this Bread & Butter.

But today, after eating there once, I would not go back and try again. It was just for an experience that I wanted to try this shop since they were selling toast bread.
Sadly, the place was quiet and there was only one worker to serve us. Though they have nice concept and signage but the sight of seeing nobody at the shop was rather discouraging for me...

Next, a glance at the menu and you would find that as expected, toasted bread with kaya (coconut custard, they call it) was their specialty. That was sure pretty obvious, any shop that starts with "bread" or "toast" would usually have the classic toasted bread as their specialty. So these was no less as well. With various topping ranging from kaya to condensed milk as topping, there quite an amount of choice to choose from, though from the menu board on the wall, the types of drinks seem to take more space than their specialty, sad.

However, looking at the price, I was surprised, because for a toast bread eating person like me, where toast bread with kaya and thick-sliced butter would only cost about RM1.80-2.00 this was considered expensive, and their drinks, was usual shopping mall prices.

So, I ordered the toast bread with cookies, while my sis ordered another with kaya. They had single layer and double layer to choose from, we took the single layer one.

To be honest, when it arrived, it was a bit disappointing to see that what I've ordered was just a piece of Hainan bread toasted crispy with kaya and cookies. It really didn't stimulated any appetite in me nor did my sis too. The taste was average, like any toast bread. The kaya was rather starchy and lack the fragrance of coconut and brown sugar while the bread with cookies was too dry to ingest. If it were combo with something a bit wet like chocolate, then maybe it would have went better. But then, it didn't.

We ordered drinks as it was part of the deal that we bought. So we ordered iced chocolate, raspberry and hazelnut. It tasted like diluted chocolate drink. Well, can't expect much from a shop that sells bread.

Overall, we both had a rather bad experience. It really was unexpected from a shop that looked so nicely furnished and thought off, such a waste.

Date of Visit: Jan 06, 2012

Spending per head: Approximately RM10(其他)
