As I am still studying, this is one of the best place for nice, savoury food around my uni area.
As far as I've known, there are a few outlets in KL, but I've never been to any other outlet except this. This outlet really gave me a big surprised as they interior design was really nice and well-designed with modern interior. They have comfy sofas for couples or friends to sit together.

I've been to this place a few times and most of the time, I would order my favourite cheese baked rice as I really adored cheese. They have a variety of cheese baked rice. And most of them are nice and good. For a cheese lover like me, it sure satisfy my need.smile
There are other nice things to eat over at Padi, particularly the ice blended drinks, mostly coffee-based. I've tried their ice blended mocha. It was very fragrant and chocolatey, a perfect mix of Lavazza coffee and chocolate. Unfortunately, I dont have any picture with me, if not I would love to show you how GREAT is their cheese baked rice combo it with a tasteful ice blended Mocha. smile
Overall, this is a pretty nice place for a nice dinner (especially at night, cuz the lights would be on, making the whole ambient a little dreaming) with a reasonable pricing for good food.

Recommended Dish(es):  spaghetti,cheese baked rice,ice blended mocha

Spending per head: Approximately RM15(晚餐)

Brownie's Little Dream OK Aug 14, 2012
Categories : Stall / Warung

here I am, bought a cash voucher online about this place that sells wonderful brownie and the cash voucher was at half price...>.<
I had to buy it and try some brownie FOR SURE!!
so I found this place at First Subang, a relatively new shopping mall around the SS15 area...
this place was a bit hard to find after you park since there was no directory around the small shopping complex...
I searched around for awhile until I stumble upon this stall facing one of the entrance with auto sliding doors...
here I found the cashier was free and so I went up and annouced my presence with a slight cough...
i told them I wanted to try their brownie using the cash voucher...

the order came and I was a bit shocked by the size of the brownie...

the brownie was small and tiny...
sadly it didn't come with an ice cream...>.<
i took a bite in it and the texture of the brownie was a bit too dry for me...
there was a slight burnt smell at the end of the taste...
overall, the brownie just tasted like any ordinary brownie...
it could have been better...sad

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles | Dim sum

hehe^^ dim sum are very very well-known in KL...and it's hard to find good dim sum~ =)
one dish from dim sum that I really love is KL's lau sa pao (custard steamed bun)
it's usually yellowish skin and filled with salted egg mix custard that ooze out when you bite down mad
i've found that this restaurant's lau sa pau is one of the best in KL and I had to try them~

so here I ordered the lau sa pao at steam room~
not too bad lah~

not too bad lah~

here is it!!! yellowish custardy heaven! =)
or so i thought~
the skin looked a bit dry and oversteamed...
then i took a bite in...>.< nothing flowed out...
everything was too sticky...
i guess the custard was too much...
some people may like it, but i prefer the watery yet flavorful type sad
anyway, this particular dish i dont quite like...

Woooohoooo~everyone loves fried chicken!!! hehe^^ that's for me =) especially KFC, no matter how bad that day's chicken was done...People will always go back for more!! and for me, besides having their fried chicken. KFC is also well-known (for me) for their potato wedges~ the cheesy ones especially!!! (ILOVECHEESE)mad

and when the flaming crunch first lauched they had this new cheesy wedges called cheesy wedges deluxe...so i couldn't help but to try...
so here it is...

it looks normal but when you have a closer look, you'll notice small chunky bits...dont know what they're made of..most probaly flour..
the wedges was still as good as they usually are =) actually the cheese sauce is the main attraction.

Overall, it was nothing special really ...sad to say that..i think the 2nd time when i went back to KFC. they took down this item already.tongue

Categories : Malaysian variety | Restaurant | Bak Kut Teh

I am at the Sri Petaling branch of Wing Hiong Bak Kut Teh...one of the more franchised brands for Bak Kut Teh from Klang...
Of course, bak kut teh from Klang are the best, or so they say...usually, KL bak kut teh have a variety of other dishes such as steam fish and many other more...
I'm a big fan of lala...smile especially those big, juicy ones!! hehe^^
so i came over to this branch near my place at sri petaling to try out one of their signature dishes besides bak kut teh...
Small but sweet

Small but sweet

steam lala!!! the lala looks very inviting!!!
overall, the lala was a bit small in size not portion...besides that, the taste was good with a good amount of rice wine, I think, in it enhanced the lala's savory factor! =)
