The Garlic Cheese Bun was tasty with melted cheese and garlic butter topped on a oblong shape soft bun.
To maintain the freshness and for hygienic purposes, each bun was nicely packed in an individual plastic bag.

They have successfully opened total of nine outlets, eight located in Klang Valley and one outlet in Seremban.

I have visited Pak Hailam Kopitiam, Serdang outlet and I was quite surprised to see sizzling hot plate food items was in their menu. It comes with three choices and I have ordered for the Hot Plate Grilled Mushroom Chicken Rice. The other two choices are Hot Plate Grilled Black Pepper Chicken Rice and Hot Plate Grilled Hainanese Chicken Rice.

The Hot Plate Grilled Mushroom Chicken Rice was sizzling all the way from the kitchen with heavy smokes. It was served with grilled chicken chop flooded with mushroom sauce and adorned with few slices of button mushrooms; a portion of coleslaw with slices of cucumber and tomato; and white rice.

The Grilled Chicken chop was well marinated and nicely grilled. It was delicious, tender and juicy. However, the chicken chop served was relatively a small piece. The creamy mushroom sauce with button mushrooms was tasty but slightly salty. It was okay to savor with white rice. The coleslaw was freshly prepared and taste good with crunchy shredded cabbage and mayonnaise sauce.

Pak Hailam Kopitiam Serdang outlet provides a nostalgic feeling and classic kopitiam style of environment with marble tables and wooden chairs.
Not many customers dine in during dinner session.

Pak Hailam Kopitaim has recently introduced a new yummy dish – Claypot Curry Fish with rice. It was served hot in a claypot with dory fish fillets, long beans, cabbage, tau pok, curry broth and white rice.

Overall, the claypot curry fish was less tasty. The curry broth itself was diluted, not spicy and does not have the nice curry aroma. The dory fish fillets was boneless, very soft and the texture was not firm. These frozen dory fish fillets does not taste as good as fresh fish meat. Other ingredients added to make the curry fish tastier are crunchy long beans and cabbage; and the tau pok was quite good.

Here comes the Nasi Lemak Curry Chicken, one of the Pak Hailam Kopitiam's signature dish. It was served with nasi lemak or coconut milk rice, curry chicken, hard-boiled egg, roasted groundnuts and anchovies, slices of cucumber and their homemade spicy sambal.

The coconut milk rice was nice, fluffy and aromatic. The curry chicken thigh was tasty and spicy. Texture of the chicken thigh was very soft and a bit over-cooked. The roasted groundnuts and anchovies was crispy crunchy. Overall, the homemade spicy sambal matches pretty well with all the ingredients.

Nando's was founded in year 1987 and the country of origin was South Africa. Nando's is well known for their flame-grilled Peri-Peri Chicken and the unbeatable Peri-Peri sauces - Lemon & Herbs, Mild Peri-Peri, Hot Peri-Peri and Extra Hot Peri-Peri Sauce.

 
Surprisingly, it was already 3 pm, but there was still a huge crowd at Nando's Mid Valley outlet.

The Peri-Peri chicken was delicious and flavorsome, where these chickens have been well marinated for at least 24 hours, then flame-grilled to perfection. Texture of the Peri-Peri chicken meat was tender succulent and pleasing to the taste buds with its Lemon & Herbs flavors. It was perfectly matched with the signature Mediterranean rice. A generous portion of potato wedges was served, with sprinkles of Peri-Peri chili powder. However, the potato wedges was soft and not crispy crunch.
