Elvis Burger Smile Dec 06, 2012

If you ever decide to try out this place, you either wait in line early before the shop opens for business or after 7.30pm where the crowd slows down. This restaurant is well known for its burgers and it has been featured on countless blogs and several dining guide tv shows too. The burger above is off menu but could be ordered over the counter, it's called the elvis burger. I've heard stories where you have to wait for more than half an hour before your order arrives and I consider myself lucky as I only waited 20 minutes for my burger. My first few bites of the burger was a little dry as I could only taste the peanut butter and caramelized onions. The beef patty was one of the best I had, it was juicy and you can feel the bits of fat in the patty slowly melt in your mouth. The blueberry jam went well with patty too as it gave a sweet aftertaste.

All Berry Bang Smile Dec 06, 2012

Recently Boost Juice Malaysia celebrated their opening of its 20th store in Malaysia by giving discount on selected beverages to customers. For a low fat smoothie which normally cost above RM12 before tax, they were only charging RM10 nett during the promotion period. I decided to try the All Berry Bang for teatime. The smoothie was quite thick and bursting with flavors. I could only identify a few berries used in the drink but nevertheless it was quite flavorful and nutritious, not to mention healthy too as they only use low fat milk as base to blend the drinks.

Pork burger Smile Dec 06, 2012

Recently tried out this place after going through a food blog and several recommendations from friends. This restaurant is opposite the fire station near Leisure Mall. Google maps was quite misleading as the indicator was off by several hundred meters. From outside this restaurant looks like a wine shop as there were racks of wine on display but do not let the appearance fool you. I tried the pork burger which cost around RM20. Instead of a pork patty, the chef uses a slice of pork which was grilled till tender and it was marinated with various types of spices. The bun was a little burnt but nevertheless it soaked up the moisture of the pork fillet.
