I was checking my E-Mail in the afternoon and I was super excited when I received an Email from Off-peak (50% for Mango Chilli Thai Restaurant). I Google for some review about this Restaurant and it was quite good therefore I booked for 7pm. Mango Chili Thai is located at Bangsar South Nexus. It was our first time to this shopping mall so we have to Waze for the location and I was very excited to find this New Shopping Mall with plenty of new food choices. Mango Chili Thai Restaurant is located at Ground Floor, Bangsar South Nexus. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely with heart shaped balloon hanging on the wall (Valentine day decoration). A couple of people occupied the restaurant when we arrived at 6.30pm but it started filling up later on. We ordered Tom Yum Seafood, Stir Fried Chicken (Hot Basil Leaves), Free Flow Lemongrass with Pandan, Red Ruby with Ice Cream and Deep Fried Fish (Trio Sauce).

Free Flow Lemongrass with Pandan @ RM 5.83

Deep Fried Fish with Trio Sauce was good, just the fish was not so fresh and the sauce was served at the room temperature. Deep Fried Fish and Trio Sauce get along perfectly. Delicious sauce overpowers the unfreshness of the Deep Fried Fish. I loved their sauce. It was a recommended dish for the staff and if would like to say "Thank you for the lovely recommendation"

Deep Fried Fish @ RM 42.29

Spicy and juicy chicken are irresistibly delicious and goes well with the rice.

Stir Fried Chicken (Hot Basil Leaves) @ RM 13.67

Tom Yum is an amazing combination of spicy and sour flavour. It is good to warm up our tummy before the meal.

Tom Yum Seafood @ RM 18.97

Red Ruby with Ice Cream was tasty and it is served with a scoop of Vanilla Ice- Cream. Perfect way to end a meal.

Red Ruby with Ice Cream @ RM 6.89

It was a good dinner for us just the Deep Fried Fish needs some improvements in my opinion. Good service and Off Peak is only applicable to Big Portion meals and not for individual dishes like Fried Rice and Fried Noodles so do double check with them before ordering the foods.

I am a big fan of Fried Koay Teow and recently I have come across this book (TIMEOUT KL) that wrote about Top 5 Char Koay Teow in Kuala Lumpur. One of the restaurants is located at SS2, Petaling Jaya so I drop by for dinner. Restaurant Lorong Seratus Tahun is located at SS2, Petaling Jaya. The restaurant serves authentic Penang Foods in Petaling Jaya so if you guys don't have time to travel all the way to Penang to enjoy their food. Do drop by this restaurant to satisfy your cravings. It was crowded when we arrived so we find our own place to sit. Once seated, the staff gave us the menu. Their recommended dish by TIMEOUT KL are Char Koay Teow therefore we ordered Curry Mee, Assam Laksa, Fried Koay Teow and Penang Rojak.

Curry tasted like a mixing of curry powder and peanuts which tasted weird at first sip but then I started to like it.

Curry Mee @ RM 9.34

Assam Laksa was delicious. Fish was fresh and the highlight was there are no small bones in the noodles that I loved. It was good to have for me.

Assam Laksa @ RM 9.34

Fried Koay Teow was aromatic, fragrant and delicious.

Fried Koay Teow @RM 10.28

Penang Rojak was yummy and sauce was good too.

Penang Rojak @ RM 8.40

It was a good dinner but the portion was rather small for the price we paid and it was not even full for my Boyfriend that he wanted to have something for dessert. Good service but very packed during dinner hours so it’s a little difficult to get their attentions. Should I drop by again? Maybe I have to think twice.

I was cravings for delicious Banana Leaf Rice recently and so far none of the Banana Leaf Rice has impressed me like Vishal Catering's and Devi's Corner. The traffic jam I have to go through always turns me down whenever I wanted to have a meal at this particular outlet. Acha Curry House is located at Petaling Garden. They serve Banana Leaf Rice and side dishes like Fried Chicken, Fried Fish, Crab, Chicken Varuval, Mutton Varuval and Beverages. It was a corner shop with tables and chairs arranged in an open space area and the menu is written on the wall. We ordered 2 Vegetarian Meal, Ikan Bilis, Moru Ais and Tenggiri Fish.

Moru Ais was refreshing to have with Banana Leaf Rice. I liked it.

Moru Ais @ RM 2.20

Tenggiri Fish was tender, soft and it just melted in my mouth. Yummy!!

Tenggiri Fish @ RM 7

Vegetarian Meal was delicious but the curry was only okay to us. I loved to have with Salted Fish and fish curry while Crab Curry was mediocre. Salted Fish is something new that I find in Banana Leaf Rice restaurant and it is my favorite. My mum always nail this curry. Ikan Billis was yummylicious. We loved it and we even finished it off but it is chargeable (RM 1).

Vegetarian Meal @ RM 6

It was a good lunch for us. The vegetables are good except their Taugeh that we left untouched after trying it. Try to look for the photo I posted on my Blog as they don’t have any signage and you will be lost like us if you are a first timer.

Big Breakfast for dinner? Sound Pretty weird right. Mostly people like to have them in the morning for Breakfast but since I am not a morning person I planned to have it for Dinner. It is always on my list to try Big Breakfast at Departure Lounge because of its unique concept "AIRPORT THEME". Finally, I got time to drop by for dinner. Departure Lounge is located at Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya (Next to RHB Bank). The cafe serves Beverages, Main Course and Big Breakfast Platters. The ambiance of the cafe was lovely with plenty of Travel Books on their shelves that really catch my eyes once I entered the cafe. I have just fallen in love with it as I loved to read Travel Books. They have indoor and outdoor seating area for the customers. I choose Big breakfast Platters with 7 items. You can choose either 3 items or 5 items as well.

For Big Breakfast (7 Items), I choose Chicken Sausages, Beef Bacon, Turkey Bacon, Hash Brown, Mushroom (Canned), Pancakes and Scramble Eggs.

Everything on that plate was delicious. Especially I loved their Hash brown, Scramble Eggs, Mushroom and Pancakes. It tasted like a simple home cooked food instead of being too fancy. Just a small drawback, it needs some seasoning in Beef Bacon and Turkey Bacon as it tasted blend.

Big Breakfast Platter (7 Items) @ RM 17.90

It was a good dinner before our shopping at 1 Utama Shopping centre. Friendly service and good foods. Quite easy to a get car parking around 7pm-8pm on Friday night.

BIRYANI is one of my most favorite food in the whole wide world and it has been quite sometime that I had a delicious Briyani so I asked my sister is it okay to have Banana Leaf Rice and Briyani for lunch before our class and she said okay. I choose Restaurant Jaipur Curry Hose among all the other option as it is quite easy to get car parkings in the afternoon at TTDI. Restaurant Jaipur Curry House is located same row with Starbucks, TTDI. They serve economy rice, Briyani, Banana Leaf Rice and Beverages. It was a little crowded when we arrived so we have to find our own place to sit. Once seated, the staff takes our orders. We ordered Chicken Briyani and Banana Leaf Rice. The ambiance of the restaurant was okay, few large tables are placed inside the restaurant to accommodate a bigger group of people and also it is quite convenient for sharing. Banana Leaf Rice was good but not something to shout about. The crab curry and Taugeh needs some improvements for me and still Devi' s Corner serve the best Crab Curry ever in my opinion.

Banana Leaf Rice @ RM 7.50

Chicken Briyani was yummy and it was served with a piece of chicken drumstick and chicken curry. I finished it off everything from the leaf. Delicious!! Chicken Briyani is only served with vegetables in yogurt and not like other restaurant where it is served with other vegetarian dishes as well.

Chicken Briyani @ RM 14.50

It was a good lunch for us before our college and I feel full until dinner so it was really very filling meal for us. Good and fast service and they only prepare the fried items after you ordered it. So it was served fresh and piping hot. Once ordered, a guy will write down the food price on a piece of paper and pass it to you and you just have to bring them to the cashier counter and settle the bill.
