Since we don’t know what to have for lunch
at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall with so many options for foods, I suggested to
my sister to have lunch at Sushi Zanmai as I have been craving for a good Sushi
recently. Sushi Zanmai is located at First Floor, Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall.
The restaurant is located at hidden place in Sunway Pyramid and if you are
first timer like us please ask the information counter instead of roaming around
the Shopping Mall and waste your energy. A couple of people occupied the restaurant
when we arrived around 3pm.I ordered Cheese Roll, Tamago Mentai, Inari, Salmon
Salad, Salmon and Macha Ice.My most requested sushi at any of the Japanese Restaurant is “Tamago Mentai and Inari “. Inari was delicious. Tamago Mentai was attractive, sweet and sure to please your tastebuds.

Salmon @ RM 4.80Salmon Salad is supper good. it has a good hint of black pepper in the salad that gives an additional kick to the Handroll.

Salmon Salad @ RM 3.80Cheese Roll has a striking combination of flavour, colour and texture. Me and my sister’s favourite.

Cheese Roll @ RM 16.80Macha Ice cream with Red Bean (Special request by my sister). Green Tea was creamy & light and Green Tea + Red Bean are the wining combination according to my sister and I agree with her.

Macha Ice- Cream @ RM 6.80It was a good lunch with my sister. Good & fast service and the quality of the food remains the same in all the outlets which I am quite impressed. Well done guys.

When I told my friend about this cafe, she was super excited to give it a try therefore we planned to have it for breakfast before our shopping at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre. Yellow Brick Road is located at Damansara Heights, Nearby Help University. They don’t have free car parking; it is RM 2 per hour. We were welcomed by the staff at the entrance and seated us in the 7 people table as it was the only table available inside the cafe. Yeah!! It was full house when we arrived around 9.30am. The ambiance of the cafe was lovely with beautiful Christmas decorations. They have both indoor and outdoor seating area and there is a giant Christmas tree outside the cafe for Christmas. I ordered Cheesy Mr Mac, Pulled Beef Benedict and Mint Verbena. Mint Verbena was lovely. Green Tea + Mint were good combination. Refreshing to have it early in the morning.

Mint Verbena @ RM 9Muffin with poached eggs, broccoli and pulled beef is a brunch to satisfy the heartiest of appeties. Asparagus is replaced with broccoli as asparagus it out of stock that day but this combination is good as well.

Pulled Beef Benedict @ RM 25 Cheesy Mr Mac was cheesy, rich and definilty a guilty pleasure. 1 bowl is more than enough to satisfy your chesse cravings for the month.

Chessy Mr Mac @ RM 18It was wonderful breakfast for us before our shopping. Good service, delicious foods but the car pakring is a drawback for me. Sure drop by again for breakfast as it is located on the way to the college.

Everyone loves desserts. Soft,fluffy cake with butter icing or cake coated with chocolate sure can put smile in everyone face. So when I know Sugar Rush is selling more than 30 types of cakes for the customers, I was so happy to hear that news and then what’s next? Of course, pay them a visit right to try it out myself. After our dinner at Ainnie 1, we went Sugar Rush for supper. Sugar Rush is located at Section 16. A bunglow house that will sure amaze you once you entre their car parking. It is such a nice place for a desserts. Yeah!! They have their own car parking but very limited place. We were greeted with the smiley face when entered the cafe and once entered, I straight away went to the cake counter to see what they have. The ambiance of the cafe was lovely, the cakes are placed in the middle of the cafe surrounded with tables. Gorgeous right! I really had difficult time in choosing what to have as everything looks drooling to me and finally I settled down for Chocolate, Semolina Almond, Long Black (Hot) and Mocha (Hot). You have to order and pay at the counter. Once your order is done, they will serve the foods to the tables. Mocha, coffee and dark chocolate are the classic combinations. Its rich and slighty sweet .

Mocha Hot @ RM 12 This is for the chocoholics. There is chocolate and cream in this beautiful cake then for a rich finish it was topped with the beautiful chocolate ganache. Heaven!!

Chocolate @ RM 15.80Semolina Almond was yummy but I found it a bit dry for my liking. When you eat them together with the cream, it tasted good.

Semolina Almond @ RM 16.80It was a perfect place for cake as the cakes are not sugary and they have varieties of choices to satisfy everyones needs or tastebuds. Lovely environment but there are mosquitoes at night, maybe because of rainy season other than that everything was great. They are working happily and not for the sake of salary.

We were so stressed out doing assignment in the house by just facing the
walls and gadgets all day, so we planned to go Frisson Coffee Bar to do
assignment. Frisson coffee bar is located just next to the "Fat
Spoon", Damansara Utama. The cafe serves Pasta, Desserts, Pizza, Salad,
Croissant, Bruschetta and Beverages. The ambiance of the cafe was simple, cosy
and perfect to do our assignment (Relaxed, no noises). Couple of people
occupied the cafe when we arrived around 3pm as they are having promotion
"50% any slice of cake for every order of coffee" therefore we
ordered Hot Cafe Latte, Flat White, Peppermint Ganache Pie, Dark Chocolate
Cake, Bruschetta Berries and Bruschetta Salmon Egg. Bruschetta topped with sliced egg, smoked salmon and sauce is simply delicious. I loved it. Bruschetta Salmon Egg @ RM 5.80

Bruschetta spread with jam and topped with berries. Sweetness from the jam contrast well with sourness from the berries. Bruschetta Berries @ RM 5.80Flat White has strong coffee flavour, less foam and served with latte art on the top.

Flat White @ RM 10 Hot Cafe Latte is milder in taste and heavier on the milk. Perfect option for my sister.

The rich chocolate ganache and the refreshing taste from the peppermint is a combination made in heaven. If guys love chocolate and peppermint like me then this pie is to die for.

Dark Chocolate Cake @ RM 15The boss gave us a complimentary dessert that will be launched in the menu from 6/12/2015. Perfect baked croissant with 2 scoops of chocolate and vanilla Ice-cream topped with marshmallow and dizzied with chocolate sauce. Now that I am writing about the dessert, it makes me drooling. Yummy!!!It was a perfect high tea for us. Friendly service, relaxed
environment and delicious food. Park your car at Uptown Gallery for RM 1 per
hour instead of double parking and illegal parking. Saw police summon few times
when we went Damansara Uptown for lunch. Manage to finish 1000 words during the
visit. 2000 words more to finish up my assignment.

This round we went Quartet to do our assignment as according to my boyfriend, he is more productive doing assignment in cafe rather than in the house. If he does in the house, he ends up playing game more than doing assignment. Quartet is located at Taman Tun DR. Ismail (In a neighbourhood area). It will be very easy to locate this cafe by using Waze. The cafe serves Beverages, Desserts, Bagel and Pasta. The ambiance of the cafe was good and it was crowded with people studying or using laptops and it motivates me more to do my assignments. I ordered Smoked Salmon Cream Cheese Bagel with Additional Poached Egg, Flat White and Typically Mango.Typically Mango tasted okay. Don't have strong mango flavour and it just tasted blend with yogurt and sweet.

Flat White @ RM 10.50 Smoked Salmon Cream cheese Bagel was okay. The dressing for the salad tasted weird for me and I still prefer thousand island or sesame dressing for my salad dressing. Bagel was good and I added Poached Egg @ RM 3 as I loved to have smoked salmon with poached egg. Next time, I should just order Bagel with cream cheese filling and add additional poached egg because it tasted much better than having with the smoked salmon. Too many vegetable fillings, gives a mixed taste and does not get along.

Smoked Salmon Cream Cheese Bagel @ RM 19.50Overall, it was okay tea time for us. Expensive and the foods are just mediocre. Just the positive feedback is friendly service, free Wi-Fi and easy to get car parking.
