We were attracted by the cake displayed at the front counter of the entrance especially their Pavlova. Therefore, me and my sister planned to have our dessert here. We were welcomed by the staff at the entrance and he seated us on the 4 pax table. Once seated, we straight away ordered Berry Pavlova as we were rushing for our movie. They serve Malaysian Cuisine, Beverages and Deserts. The environment was lovely and romantic.I loved their ambiance. Good option for Valentine Day or Any-other special occasions. Everything was perfect from their service to the desserts. Should drop by again to try their foods as it looks yummy too. Pavlova was simply delicious. Sourness from the fruits contrast well with the sweetness from the cream. Yummy!! Highly recommended.

Pavlova @ RM 15.90

I bought a ticket to watch 5th Wave Movie at TGV, 1 Utama (9.15pm Show) and we decided to have dinner at Chequers, TTDI before our movie as it is located nearby 1 Utama (Less than 5 Minutes by car) They serve Sweet & Savoury Waffles, Pancake, Pasta, Main Course and Desserts. We were greeted upon entering the cafe and we choose our own place to seat. A couple of people occupied the cafe when we arrived around 7pm but it was filling up after that. The ambiance was cosy and comfortable. We ordered Double Deck Croque Monsieur, Chicken Cobb Chicken, Salmon Alfredo and The Berry Pancake.

Chicken Cobb Sandwich was yummy. It has a good hint of spiciness in the waffle. My sister loved it.

Chicken Cobb Sandwich @ RM 25.00

Double Deck Croque Monsieur was simply delicious. Cheese and Omelette gives an additional taste to the Waffles. I loved it.

Double Deck Croque Monsieur @ RM 18.00

Just normal pasta and not something mind blowing for me.

Salmon Alfredo @ RM 26.00

Berry Pancake was good. It was too thick and a little dry for me but when you eat them with honey it tasted nice.

The Berry Pancake @ RM 12.00

It was good and filling dinner for us before our movie. Food are good especially their waffles. Good and friendly service and sure drop by again for their Waffles. Bear in mind that it is very difficult to get car parking at night.

My friend recommended this restaurant to have farewell dinner before everyone goes back hometown for Chinese New Year. Restaurant FFS is located at Kuchai Lama, Happy Garden. It took about 40 minutes to reach this restaurant from PJ in Traffic Jam and getting car park is another nightmare. So we were really hoping that the foods really worth the efforts. It is a seafood restaurant and they don't have any menu for you to see before ordering. Thank God!! One of my friends visited this restaurant before, so she knows some of their best dishes. She ordered Yee Sang For 5 people, Nyonya Steam Fish, Tofu, Salted Egg Sotong, Salted Egg Bitter Ground and Yam Basket. A couple of people occupied the restaurant when we arrived at 6pm but it was filling up quickly around 7.30pm. Most of the tables were reserved for the customers. The ambiance of the restaurant was good and they have both indoor and outdoor seating areas for the customers. Yee Sang was good. It was my first Yee Sang of the year and my sister liked it.

Yee Sang @ RM 48

Normal Tofu dishes, but it tasted good too.

Bean Curd @ RM 18

Yam Basket was tasty. Perfectly fried Yam Basket with something similar to the Kung Pao chicken on the top with some cashew nuts. Yummy!!

Yam Basket @ RM 30

Oh my Salted Egg Sotong this is my favourite Street Snack in Pasar Malam, SS2. Perfectly Fried Sotong with generous lip smacking salted egg sauce was just too hard to resist.

Salted Egg Squid @ RM 30

The fish was steamed to perfection, tender and it is the best fresh fish I have eaten in a while just the sauce needs to have more flavour.

Steamed Fish @ RM 38

Salted Egg Bitter Ground was crispy, salty and quite bitter, which was something new to me. I don't like any food that has a bitter taste, but this is something unique that really attracted me. Delicious!!

Salted Egg Bitter Ground @ RM 15

It was a good dinner for us before everyone leaving to their Hometown for Chinese New Year. Friendly service and delicious food but the car parking was a big trouble for us. "Happy Chinese New Year Guys" . My recommended dishes are Slated Egg Sotong, Salted Egg Bitter Ground and Yam Basket.

After our dinner at FFS, we planned to go for dessert at Owl Cafe but it was closed around 7pm therefore we changed our plan to 103 Coffee Workshop as it took only takes 20 minutes to reach from Restaurant FFS. 103 Coffee Workshop is located at Jalan Radin Bagus, Kuala Lumpur. Car parking was full so we parked our car at private car parking that costs us RM 3 and walk over to the café.The cafe was full house when we arrived and Thank God!! My friend already reserved a place for us. We were full from our dinner so we just ordered 3 Rose Latte, Belgium Hot Chocolate and Rose Grape Fruit. The ambiance of the cafe was lovely and it gives a very warm feelings. It remains full house during our entire dining section and customer will be coming one by one for dinner. It was such a busy night for them. I guess.

Rose Grape Fruit was refreshing and I loved it.

Rose Grape Fruit @ RM 8.90

Rose Latte was simply delicious. Rose Latte is milder in taste compare to all other espresso coffee.

Rose Latte @ RM 10.90

Hot Belgium Chocolate was rich, slightly sweet and it is a dessert like beverage for me.

Hot Belgium Chocolate @ RM 9.90

It was good hangout with my friends. Everything was great from their service to the drinks.Sure drop by again to try their foods. It looks yummy too and by justifying the crowd, I think it must be delicious as well.

We wanted to go for dinner at SS2 but a little afraid that we may not get car parking as it is weekend night and also 2 days to Chinese New Year (Long Holiday) where most of the people will be going out dinner with their family. But to our surprise there was plenty of empty car parking available around 7pm. We went Ding Emperor for dinner, they serve both Steamboat and Ala-Cate noodles in their menu. We were welcomed by the staff at the entrance and he seated us at 4 pax table. We choose Noodle so she gave us Ala-Cate food menu. After going through it, we ordered Fish Slice Noodle, Fish Dumpling Noodle and In House Oolong Tea. You have to choose your own ingredient, soup ( Spicy or Clear) and noodle ( Ramen or Udon).

In House Oolong Tea @ RM 1.90

Make sure to order some drink if you are ordering their spicy noodle, I am certain that you will sure need that during your meal.

I choose Fish Dumpling Noodle (Fish Dumpling+ Spicy Soup + Ramen Noodle). This hot and spicy broth is perfect way to warm upon on cold day. It was very spicy and I even cannot finish the whole bowl of it. Spicy and I loved their Fish Dumpling!!

Fish Dumpling Noodles @ RM 9.50

My sister choose Fish Slice Noodle (Fish Slice + Clear Soup + Ramen Noodle). This noodle is suitable for everyone. Delicious soup and the noodle was cooked perfectly but the fish slices was not so fresh for us.

Fish Slices Noodles @ RM 13.90

It was a good dinner for us. Friendly service (The waitress warn me about the spiciness when we order and bought me plenty of tissues after seeing me sweating while eating the noodles) Good!! They really care about their customer. Sure drop by again especially when I crave for spicy noodle.
