Me and my sister wanted to have something delicious, filling and it must be located nearby our house so that we can come back home early to prepare for our exam. Therefore, we decided to have dinner at Cafe 9 that is located at Section 17 (Just 5 minute’s drive from my house and their foods are delicious based on some reviews). They serve variety of Thai Cuisine and set dinner. We were welcomed by the staff at the entrance and seated us on the 4 pax table (Requested by me for good lighting). We were served with a cup of Lemongrass drink once seated. Yummy!!!! A couple of people occupied the restaurant when we arrived around 6.30pm but it was filing up after that. The ambiance of the restaurant was good and comfortable. We ordered Rice With Pad Kra Pao Chicken, Thai Soup Rice (Spicy Tom Yum Broth), Omelette, Bowl Of Tom Yum Soup and Red Ruby Water Chestnuts.

My first impression after I tried their soup is "The food must be super duper food". They really gave a excellent first impressions.

Tom Yum Soup was delicious. It's no better way to warm up then the soup.

Bowl Of Tom Yum Soup @ RM 2

Thai Soup Rice (Spicy Tom Yum Broth) with rice, meatball and egg. A comforting dish for me. Even it looks like a clear broth, it has a punch of heat that goes well together and not too spicy. Portion was big for me and I have to take way for my lunch next day. Good for less spicy lovers and I have to ask for more spicy during my next visit.

Thai Soup Rice (Spicy Tom Yum Broth) @ RM 12

Rice with Pad Kra Pao Chicken was delicious and big portion. It was spicy and has a good hint of Basil taste.

Rice with Pad Kra Pao @ RM 12

Omelette goes perfect with the Hot Basil rice.

Omelette @ RM 2

Red Ruby Water Chestnuts is a perfectdessert to end our meal.

Red Ruby Water Chestnuts @ RM 6.90

It was good dinner for us. Delicious food, big portion and fantastic service. I rally admired that. Thumb up guys!! Sure drop by again to try your Tom Yum soup with my sister and Boyfriend.

My friend suggested this restaurant for New Year Dinner when my sister told her that she wanted to have some western foods like Pasta, Spaghetti or Pizza and everyone agreed to go there for dinner. Antonio's is located at Taman Tun DR Ismail that is very near to my house but I didn't know about their existence until my friend told me. Antonio's is an Italian restaurant. We were welcomed by the staff at the entrance and seated us on the 4 pax table. The ambiance of the restaurant was classy and good. A couple of people occupied the restaurant when we arrived at 7pm but it stared filling up after that. We ordered Grilled Salmon, House Special Pizza, Paella Valencia and Peppermint Tea.

Complimentary bread with olive oil. Good starter before the meal.

Peppermint Tea @ RM 4 (Unlimited Refills)

House Special Pizza was yummy. It even tasted delicious after it cools down, not like some pizza where it would taste rubbery and chewy once cool down. Moreover, it has a good creamy taste.

House Special Pizza @ RM 33

Grilled Salmon was simply delicious. Salmon was beautifully cooked with crunchy salmon skin and the sauce gives an additional kick to the salmon. My boyfriend favourite dish now.

Grilled Salmon @ RM 36

Paella Valencia was okay. There is generous amount of seafood’s and vegetables in it but be careful with the Clam shell as there are small pieces of the shells in the food. It can be shared by 3people (small eaters) instead of 2.

Paella Valencia @ RM 70

Complimentary Drink to wash down the foods.

It was perfect New Year Dinner to welcome the rest of the year and wonderful gift exchange with my Boyfriend, Sister and friend. Thanks to my sister for the special gifts. Good and friendly service. Sure drop by again for their pizza and Grilled Salmon. Little hidden gem located nearby my house. Thanks to my friend for the lovely recommendation. We loved it!!!

Saravanaa Bhavan @ Petaling Jaya Smile Jan 12, 2016

We decided to have dinner at Saravanan Bhavan on the way back home. Saravanan Bhavan is located behind AMCORP Mall, Petaling Jaya. They serve only vegetarian food but don't worry, they have a variety of choices that suits everyone's taste buds. It was full house when we arrived around 9pm therefore we have to find our own table to sit. Thank God!! Once we entered a cutomer leaved so we managed to get the table. The ambiance of the restaurant was simple and open kitchen concept (You can see the food preparation in the Kitchen). We ordered Poori, Plain Thosai, Saravana Special Meal and Masala Tea.

Masala Tea tasted good. It is my Boyfriend's favorite in Saravanan Bhavan.

Masala Tea @ RM 4

Saravana Special Meal is served with 3 types of curry (Sambar, Rasam and spicy curry), 3 Types of Vegetables, Pickles, Dried Chill, Yogurt, Chapati, Papadum, Dessert and Ice Cream. Everything was great and delicious.

Saravana Special Meal @ RM 14

Poori was tasty and less oily. It is a deep fried bread served with Potato Masala.

Poori Masala @ RM 5

Thosai was simply delicious. It was served with a bowl of Sambar, mild coconut chutney and tomato chutney.

Thosai @ RM 4.50

Just a normal Ice-Cream included in the Saravana Special Meal.

It was the perfect dinner for us. Friendly and fast service. Very easy to get car parking so after this I don’t have to travel all the way to Bangsar to eat this. Just only drawback is they don't serve limited Banana Leaf Meal at night as Saravana Special Meal is too big and heavy for dinner. I really admire that they can maintain the same quality in all their branches. Thumbs up guys!!

After our tired shopping, we planned to
have a tea break at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts before going back home. We have 2 vouchers
“1 Beverage + 1 Original Doughnuts + 1 Special Doughnuts” .Krispy Kreme
Doughnuts is located at Lower ground, Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre. They
serve varieties of Doughnuts and Beverages (Hot & Cold). You have to order
and pay at the counter and once your order is done, you have to bring it
yourself to the table. They have dine-in and take away option for the customer
but if you wish to dine-in please bear in mind that they only have 4-5 tables
for the customer and if the tables are full, you have no choice but to take
away.

You can choose either coffee or tea. We choose Tea as it is best to have with Doughnuts.

Oreo Doughnuts was fantastic, so fluffy and full of chocolate flavour. Original Doughnuts was simply delicious. It was light and not too sugary like Big Apple Doughnuts.

The crunchiness from the Peanuts contrast well with the sweetness from the Doughnuts.

It was a good tea break for us. Friendly service (They helped us to take away the foods when I told them I was rushing back). If you wanted to have something not too sugary, you may consider this.

Since we don’t know what to have for lunch
at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall with so many options for foods, I suggested to
my sister to have lunch at Sushi Zanmai as I have been craving for a good Sushi
recently. Sushi Zanmai is located at First Floor, Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall.
The restaurant is located at hidden place in Sunway Pyramid and if you are
first timer like us please ask the information counter instead of roaming around
the Shopping Mall and waste your energy. A couple of people occupied the restaurant
when we arrived around 3pm.I ordered Cheese Roll, Tamago Mentai, Inari, Salmon
Salad, Salmon and Macha Ice.My most requested sushi at any of the Japanese Restaurant is “Tamago Mentai and Inari “. Inari was delicious. Tamago Mentai was attractive, sweet and sure to please your tastebuds.

Inari @ RM 2.80/ Tamago Mentai @ RM 3.80

Fresh Salmon placed above the Sushi Rice. It was simply delicious.

Salmon @ RM 4.80

Salmon Salad is supper good. it has a good hint of black pepper in the salad that gives an additional kick to the Handroll.

Salmon Salad @ RM 3.80

Cheese Roll has a striking combination of flavour, colour and texture. Me and my sister’s favourite.

Cheese Roll @ RM 16.80

Macha Ice cream with Red Bean (Special request by my sister). Green Tea was creamy & light and Green Tea + Red Bean are the wining combination according to my sister and I agree with her.

Macha Ice- Cream @ RM 6.80

It was a good lunch with my sister. Good & fast service and the quality of the food remains the same in all the outlets which I am quite impressed. Well done guys.
