Tuck Cheong is a popular Dim Sum restaurant in Pudu. Recently all of us (Me, My Sister & My boyfriend) was craving for Dim Sum therefore we planned to go Tuck Cheong for Breakfast. In most of the website it stated that they will be start selling around 6.30am until sold out. So we thought it would be good to drop by around 9.30am for breakfast as it won't be crowded. Restaurant Tuck Cheong is located behind Kompleks Ruby. It was crowded when we arrived but the bad news is most of the Dim Sum was sold out and only Taufu Varieties left. You have to choose your own Taufu at the entrance before entering the restaurant. We choose a couple of Taufu, 1 Dim Sum, Red Bean Pau, Kaya Pau and Chinese Tea Pot.

Both Pau's are good. No big comments.

Taufu was okay. It manages to fill our hunger and the sauce make it a memorable dish.

Dim Sum was delicious. It is one of the food we really liked among all the foods.

It was a good breakfast. Not something great and not something bad as well. Maybe we should drop by early to try their Dim Sum in the future. Total bill was RM 22.80 for foods & drinks.

Restaurant Devi's Corner @ TTDI OK Apr 24, 2016

Devi's Corner is one of the popular Banana Leaf restaurants in Bangsar. I was more than happy when I get to know that they opened a new branch at TTDI. Therefore, we planned to have Banana Leaf Rice there. Devi's Corner is located at TTDI (Next to Wood & Steel Cafe). They serve Mamak Style Economy Rice, Roti Canai, Beverages and other dishes except Banana Leaf Rice. Yeah!! They don't serve Banana leaf Rice in their TTDI branch and I was so disappointed with this. I went all the way to TTDI for Banana Leaf Rice but now I have no choice but to choose other dishes for lunch. We choose to eat Mamak Style Economy Rice. You have to walk over to their counter and choose the dishes you want. The staff will walk over to your table and see what you have taken and writes the bill for you.

Complimentary Papadum

I choose Sotong Sambal & Cabbage. Sotong Sambal was so spicy that burns my tongue and stomach at the end of the meal but I still like it. I know it is not good for health, but once in a while, it should be okay right!! Actually, I was pretty attracted to the reddish Colour of it and I too wanted to have something spicy for lunch. Non-spicy lovers please be aware of it. Just double check with the staff about their spiciness level before taking any reddish colour dish.

It was an okay lunch for me as I was hoping to eat Banana Leaf Rice with Crab Curry. In my opinion, their Banana Leaf Rice is much more amazing. This meal was good too but I prefer their Banana Leaf Rice more. I probably should just stick to their Bangsar Branch in the future. The Total bill for my food was RM 7.

Go Thai @ Atria Shopping Gallery OK Apr 24, 2016

Categories : Thai | Restaurant

My Boyfriend favourite’s Hangout place is currently Atria Shopping Gallery. He loved to go there for dinner, shopping and just to have a walk around the mall. We decided to have dinner at Go Thai, Atria Shopping Gallery that is located at Level 3 after our good dinner in Go Thai, SS2.They serve Thai Cuisine with very limited choices of foods, beverages and dessert choices as well. We were welcomed by the staff at the entrance and she seated us in the 4 pax table. A couple of people occupied the restaurant when we arrived. Noise from the ceiling upstairs made our dinner unpleasant. We ordered Phad Gra Pow Moo, Phad Mee Korat and Tub Thim Krob.

Basil Chicken (Phad Gra Pow Moo) was good but it does not have very good Basil Flavour and spicy kick.

Phad Gra Pow Mom @ RM 12

The Phad Mee Korat has very good flavour but seriously it lacks Wok Fei flavour and peanut taste. Okay and not an extraordinary or best Pad Thai.

Phad Mee Korat @ RM 12

Tub Thim Krob was yummy. It is best to end our meal. Delicious and not too sweet makes it perfect for everyone.

Tub Thim Krob @ RM 7.50

The food just manages to fill our hunger and that’s all. Only the dessert was up to the standard and with the loud noise while I was eating. I guess I really have to think twice to drop by again.

My sister was nagging me to bring her to try Seeri Thai Authentic restaurant after my friend told her that they serve delicious Pad Thai but she is not a big fan Pad Thai so she go for Basil Chicken. So I brought her there for dinner. Seeri Thai Authentic Restaurant is located same row with Kayu Nasi Kandar. They serve Thai Cuisine. A couple of people occupied the restaurant when we arrived around 8pm. The ambiance of the Restaurant was simple yet comfortable. She orders her favorite Basil chicken and Pandan Cooler.

Pandan cooler on a hot summer day was so good and refreshing.

Basil Chicken was okay. It was cooked more to Chinese Style with a lot of vegetables and soy sauce rather than Thai style with more Basil Leaves and Minced Chicken. It still taste good but we were expecting Thai style Basil chicken with a rich Basil taste and good spicy kick in it.

It was an okay dinner for us. Friends service but I wish they serve food more to Thai Style rather than Chinese Style as it is a Thai Restaurant and not a Chinese Restaurant. We went there hoping to fulfil our cravings for Thai Basil Chicken but what we get in return was a food to fill our hunger. Total bill was RM 15.50 for foods and drinks.

Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung | Ice Cream / Froyo / Gelato | Sweets/Snack

"EGGU" is one of the most happening Dessert place in Petaling Jaya now. You guys sure came across at least one post about it in Instagram. After dinner, I asked my Boyfriend whether he wanted to have Dessert with me?.He was more than happy once I said dessert. Therefore we went Eggu for desert which is located at Level 3, Atria Shopping Gallery. It was a small Kiosk with a couple of Table and chairs placed around the Kiosk for customer to dine-in. You have to order and pay at the counter and the staff will pass you the receipt with your order number on it. After waited for about 5 minutes, we get our most popular dessert. Haa Hoo!! We ordered Thunder (Recommended by the staff)

A cup full of Fresh Banana Bites, Biscuits on the bottom and topped with the swirls of Ice Cream and special waffle on the top. I loved to eat the Waffle dipped in the Ice-Cream. Good, but the Waffle was quite dry for my likings.

Thunder @ RM 15.90

Overall, it was just a normal desert for us, not something to rave about. Just the Waffle was something unique to me, but my Boyfriend told me that Hong Kong Waffle is much more better than this. Should try it out during my trip by the end of the year.
