I was so eager to go The Sire The Museum Restaurant since I saw those food blogger share their picture dine in at there. The environment show from the picture is so nice make me keep incite my friend to go together, finally my friend bring me go on my 25 years old birthday >"<

 
The outlook of the restaurant is simple yet elegant, the name of the restaurant show the uniqueness of the restaurant.

 
When you step inside, you will be amaze by the design of the restaurant. First of all the first dining hall is quite similar with the China House, form mostly by the two people table, come into the middle is the kitchen, then the washroom, then is another hall for dine in. Then here got a bar to prepare drinks and also a cupboard to keep the wine.

 
Since we want to save more place in our stomach for good food, so we just order plain water, the water is cold yet it got a taste of orange.

 
This is the complimentary bread. The top of it seem like is tomato sauce, the taste is so special as I had never try any sauce like this before. The bread look very crunchy when when we bite on it, we found that actually the bread is soft, wonder how the chef make it shocked

 
Then come to our routine "Spaghetti Aglio Olio". The aglio olio at here is vegetarian, since it is the sister restaurant of the Feringghi Garden so both of their taste is quite similar. It also got put vinegar if not mistaken cause the taste is sour, mostly aglio olio is in spicy taste so I quite uncomfortable with non-spicy aglio olio. One special thing about the aglio olio at here is they got put mint in it. This is the first time I saw mint inside the aglio olio, anyway I not really like it cause I don't like mint.

 
Chicken Pizza. The combination of the ingredient is simple and nice. It only have tomoto and chicken but it make people feel satisfy with the taste, the bread is so thin and this bring another feel for us when taste on it.

 
Salmon. Actually the camera had focus on wrong item, the thing that the camera focus on is the sidedish of the salmon, but the taste of the sidedish is more nice compare to the salmon which are the main course. The salmon taste is not bad, but the potato is more better. It seem like use the spoon to scoope it into a small ball size then wrap it with the silver paper and cook it, the taste is so nice, make me recall on it and feel want to eat again tongue

 
Fish and Chip. Actually this is a kid meal but don't know why my friend still order it, maybe she think we all are the hungry ghost and confirm we will finish all the food, and yes we did finish all the food mad Anyway the french fries of the dish is quite oily and smelly, the taste is not so nice, the fish is only so so but since it a kid meal, I guess no kid will complain about it = =

Before Blend Mix, the place was so call Strait Kitchen, I still remember the time when I went to there, I thought strait kitchen is in some where in Strait Quay cause the word "Strait" but after I google it, I found that I'm wrong so this place give me quite a deep impression, so do the food. So when I buy the Blend Mix voucher, I never thought that the Strait Kitchen had been closed and re-open a new restaurant, until I stand in front of it.

 
The Strait Kitchen is a nostalgia place, while the Blend Mix is modern and clean, not to said that Strait Kitchen is not clean but the property at there is quite old.
The restaurant in chinese call 圆蜜 it's a quite strange name

 
My brother and I had bought a voucher so one of us will consume it, the voucher contain soup, main course, drinks and desserts. The soup is mushroom soup, my brother said the taste is very nice and richness, he feel that the soup is using powder to cook, and I feel wow this quite amazing for using a powder can cook such a richness mushroom soup. While for the main course, my brother had choose Chicken Cordon Blee, as you can see, the cheese flow out is so many, I had forced my brother to cut the Chicken cordon bleu so I can take a picture of the inner, and the inner make me feel the dish so delicious.

 
The sauce that they serve up together with the chicken cordon bleu is special make, the taste I feel it quite similar with the sauce that the chicken rice stall give, since my brother don't like the sauce, I had take it and eat it with my spaghetti. I can feel they got put ginger and garlic to mix with the sauce.

 
My favourite food ^^ When I order I ask whether can add more chilli flake for me then they said they just will put black pepper, so I continue to ask, if they can give me some green chilli since I saw they got sell nyonya food and I guess they should have some green chilli stock in their kitchen, then they agree with that.
For me, I think the aglio olio is quite nice. But I don't like the taste of celery, this is the first time I saw people put celery in the aglio olio, if you didn't bite the celery then the taste is not bad, but when you bite the celery then the taste is weird. Other than that, the spaghetti is just nice.

 
Latte, I not sure why i had already put so many sugar, it still so bitter.

A free meal for Peking Duck Smile Oct 19, 2012

I saw a website is providing free voucher for half pecking duck for their member, and I feel this is quite interest cause I had never have a chance to get free meal since I had become food blogger.

 
The restaurant is located in the Gurney Plaza, 6th floor, it is quite showy cause it is just beside the escalator. When I enjoying my meal in the restaurant, I found that their staff was making publicity for their shop by standing outside the restaurant and keep shouting. I had never saw any restaurant pulling customer like this, such an amazing.

 
The menu is quite old, when I was at there trying to take the photo of the menu, the boss told me they will changing their menu next week, and I said never mind, just for fun only.

 
This is the appetizer, thought the half duck is free but I saw the bill, this two appetizer need to paid, so even you only come to enjoy your duck you still need to paid, just more or less only. This two appetizer one is peanut, the taste is just so so only, not saying that it not nice, but it is nothing special, cause it can be bought outside, can food, and the price is more cheap compare to here, while the other plate, I like it so much, it is sweet and sour, it seem like it using vinegar add with sugar to pickle it.

 
This is the process of the staff cutting out the skin of the duck

 
The way of eating the peking duck is first they will need to cut out the skin first and put in a plate. You will need to put the crepe first, then put some vegetable on the top of the crepe and a slice of the duck skin then roll up and then eat with the special sauce. OMG, the taste is so nice!!! The duck skin is not too fat, it still got oily but because of the way of cooking so I didn't disgusting when I eat the skin.

 
After the staff had cut off the skin, the meat will then use to cook other dish, it got six choices, and I choose to cook it with black pepper. In my opinion, I scare the duck meat is not tasty, so if it cook with the black pepper, at least it is spicy and it is more easy to eat by me. And I was right about it, the duck meat is quite different with the duck skin, the taste of the meat is quite... but my brother praise it and said that it is so delicious. But I not really like the taste because it got a kind of smell and I not really can accept it.

 
This one is lotus cook with egg yolk. When you first eat it, you will feel it is delicious, I not sure for other, but that is my opinion, and I think is because I had never try this before, so I like it when I first try, but after a while, I feel quite tired to eat it, because it was been fried, and it was a bit hard to bite, so it make me feel tired. But overall the taste of it is not bad.

In my memory, this is the second Bak kut teh my father bring me. Before this, we always went to a bak kut teh in the pasar until my father said the taste of bak kut teh there is too bad... sad then we change to here

 
The first time we found here, there was not so many people yet, but today the customer is so many until sometime we can't even find a seat. Maybe is because they are too famous, there got one gastronome also come and introduce about this bak kut teh.

 

 
This is one of the most important thing when eat bak kut teh, the sambal, previously I like pour a lot of bak kut teh soup inside my rice and put a lot of sambal stir it and then eat like that, then when I grow up, long time I didn't do like that maybe I can't eat that much already.

 
Before this I only eat sambal, so I feel the green chilli is spicy, but after I learn it, now not only bak kut teh, most of the time I will eat food with the green chilli, if without it, I will feel the food don't have the taste.

 
Haha, another important side dish when eat bak kut teh, normally every bak kut teh stall will sell this youzhagui(油炸鬼), it can use to put inside the soup and make it soft and get some taste of the bak kut teh and eat like that and solely eat the youzhagui also taste not bad. Normally the bak kut teh will need to wait so long, cause it is cook one claypot by one claypot, so I will get a youzhagui and eat while waiting for my bak kut teh, when I almost finish my youzhagui, the bak kut teh is already been serve up, some time I will finish more faster depend on how hungry I am = =

 
Haha the main theme of the day. In the claypot, beside of the pork, it still got mushroom, vegetable, beancurd, meatball and fungus. I like to eat the beancurd at here, it seem like had been fried before put inside the bak kut teh and the taste is better than the beancurd sell outside. The mushroom also not bad, but the best thing is the soup. If you finish your soup you can ask for add soup, but I found that whenever you ask them to add soup, the taste of the soup is different with the taste of the soup that come with the lot of ingredient, is like not sweet, no taste at all. I think because the second time soup, they didn't cook with the ingredient so it not tasty.

 
I like to order vegetable at here, it different with the taste that we use to eat in our home, it got the taste of the pot, I think they are using big fire to cook so that it taste different.

 
Here the choices of drink is quite less. For the hot beverage, if you don't like chinese tea or chinese herb tea, then you only can order 3in1 white coffee.

Normally, if you are order two person eat, then it will cost you about RM19+

Set Dinner in Grand Pacific Cafe  OK Oct 19, 2012

This was the first day I arrived in KL to join the Celcom Cupcake Challenge, the Celcom had prepare room for us in Dynasty Hotel, my brother and I reach there in the night, after settle down, we went to find food. Since we can't find any fast food restaurant around, so we decide to take our dinner in Pacific cafe, cause I saw it provide free wifi.

 
Before I went in the restaurant, I found that the cafe provide set dinner, and it only cost RM13++, since I come KL to earn prize, so I decide to order the most valueable food.

 
The design in the cafe is simple and relax, the color using is green and white.
I like it when I first look at it.
Anyway, since the time when we dine in is quite late so the restaurant seem quite dirty.

 

 
Since I order set dinner, so it contain soup, main course and drinks.
The soup is so delicious, the ingredient is many, got chicken, potato, carrot and vegetables, the taste is seem like the chef is using chicken to cook so long time.

 
The set dinner provide tea, coffee and iced lemon tea, cause it already night time so I don't feel want to drink cold, I order coffee.

This is fish and I forget the name of the sauce, but the fish is smell quite fishy, however the taste is not bad, it seem like using dorry fish to cook, the meat of fish is quite soft, put on the sauce, make the fish taste delicious. Thought it smell fishy but it still in a range of acceptable. Beside of the fish, the side line provide is potato, the potato seem like don't have any special.

 
This is chicken and the sauce they put on is mint, the smell is so bad until I can't stand with it. My brother said the taste is not bad, but I really don't like the smell of it, so I didn't taste any of it.

A set dinner cost RM13+, the bill of that day is not paid by me, so I not sure how much it cost totally, but I think is about RM30 plus tax.
